The Real Deal — Restaurant in Boston

I had grown up grilled cheese and it was so incredibly awful that it makes sense to review it, so that others can think twice before ordering this epic failure and wasting 14 dollars.

It is basically two slices of toast, drowned in awful ketchup, with some meat (nothing to write home about), some cheese (likewise) and something that was supposed to be caramelised onion. It was sautéed onion, nowhere near caramelised onion.

The sandwich looked bloody terrible, but I was hungry and I do not like wasting food, so I decided to eat it. It turned out to be a grave mistake, because it not only looked unappetising, but it also tasted truly terrible: just oily toast with loads of ketchup (literally drowned in it) with overpowering vinegary taste plus sautéed onions and some meat and some cheese. Given that it was drowned in this awful sauce, it could have been cardboard.

After eating this, I felt like I ate a ton of bricks, plus it left a truly terrible taste in my mouth for a long time. Awful experience. I would never order this again.

It is surprising, because it was recommended by staff as one of their most popular...

The first time that I tried this place, I ordered a Cuban sandwich and I really really loved it. It was very delicious. Today, me and my boyfriend decided to order dinner from here, he ordered a burger and I ordered a capresse melt and I must say that I am very disappointed at it. It supposed to come with mayo and pesto and it tastes more like mayo and eggs. They put a lot of mayo and you can’t even taste the pesto. It’s supposed to be a “melt” but the cheese wasn’t melted at all. I thought that it was going to be sliced thing melted mozzarella. It was cold thick mozzarella. Next time I’ll just stick to the Cuban sandwich, I pretty much just ate half of the sandwich because it wasn’t good at all and to end, they put a lot of red onions. It would be better think sliced onions in a moderate amount. Would never order again...

Prices at the location itself are about 25% more than what is listed online. The food was cold and french fries hard as a rock and completely stuck together. Lift one french fry and they'd all lift. They overcharged me a whole meal and never even gave me the drinks that we got and of course I didn't even notice until we got home but we paid for the drinks we didnt get and not even like they were busy bcuz we were the only order there. I got chicken parm sub that was so dry. I'd never go back there again and the customer service was terrible. Employees are so rude and if was my business, I would've fired them long ago. To top it off, they not only overchared me 430pm told me I paid the correct price and refused to refund me the $8 over charged. I'm surprised they still are open for business. Real Rating I'd...
