What an awesome experience, from beginning to end. We sat outside, in gorgeous weather, and enjoyed a few bottles of lovely crisp white wine. The servers were chill, the food came quickly, and everything was delicious! We all loved the pretzels with pimento cheese and really horseradish-y mustard. For the vegetarians amongst us, the zucchini was a delicious surprise. Hard to do that really well, but we really enjoyed it! The burrata and ricotta cheese toasts were just perfect. Everyone was so welcoming of my 16 month old daughter, despite some witching-hour fussing. And what a very chill atmosphere! After looking all the other 5 star reviews, I am sure it must mean something! I did not get to dine here, the place had a very inviting outdoor patio seating. I was passing by and felt very tired, so I took a quick break(maybe a minute or two) on one of the chairs before I could go on my way. One of the waiters immediately came to me and let me know that it was meant only for people who dine at the place although there was no one else using the patio seating. Fair enough. I just feel that it could have been said in a better way- I was tired and hungry and would have probably taken a quick bite. My friends and I had a great experience here. The ambiance and decor is spot on and a very welcomed change from the rest of the bars and restaurants in Southie. Because there were 6 of us, we shared most of the menu which I would recommend doing so you can try various dishes. Eggplant isn't usually something I order, but it was one of my favorite dishes we had. Would highly recommend getting this. The other group favorites were the Grays Board, Yukon Potatoes, Rock Shrimp and Steak Frites.
