How's Your Meat is an absolute hidden gem. The food is flat-out amazing, the service from owner Stephen is just outstanding, and the entire place is always very clean and well-maintained. I've had everything on the menu, from the crazy good ribs to all the different sandwiches, and it's all perfect every time. Stephen clearly puts his heart into this place—it shows in the quality of the food and how well he treats everyone, even when he's running the whole spot solo! My only gripe? You gotta catch them! They're only open three days a week, which just means you have to plan ahead. Honestly, the biggest stress in my week is making sure I don't miss one of their open days! I decided to stop by and try today. And boy, am I glad I did. I grabbed a 2 meat combo, ribs and brisket with Carolina vinegar sauce. Mac n cheese and coleslaw sides. My son grabbed a burger. Everything was excellent. Considering the level of food you're getting, the prices are more than fair. It says on the website that everything is smoked for 14 hours. Hungry traveling mechanic, had to bang a U turn when I saw the name of this restaurant, and the BBQ flag flying! Let me tell you, my meat was awesome! I got the two meat combo (brisket and pulled pork)with mac n cheese and slaw, absolutely delicious to the last drop! The brisket, nice smokey juicy tender bite of delight!!
