Q: How many people does it take put cheese on a burger?

When I steps in side there where 4 employees. One at the grill, another on fries, a third cleaning and an autistic kid on the register. Now the restaurant had three other customers in it. two had there food. The third waiting.

So I order a cheeseburger and the kid does his job and take my order. then goes to put it together. He had the bun condomints, burger set. every thing but meat and cheese. Then another costumer comes in and the kid has to go back to the register. Now at this point the person in front of me get her food. Burger was completed before I walked in. There are 4 burgers on the grill. no one needs fires and the kid is taking another order for a burger (no fries).

What are the other 3 employees doing? The one on the grill is putting more burgers on the grill. Despite no one having ordered more burgers. the Guy on the fries is still slowly moving fries around. Despite there now being enough fries for the next ten orders. And the one doing the cleaning has moved into he back and not returned. More customers come in. Note that the orders for the new customers had been put in on line. One for a shake that the kid made and burger that was already completed and waiting for them. The other order was a burger and fries again already complete. And the guy on the fries are taking his sweet time. Five minutes to move a bag 3 feet?

Anyways the the answer to "How many people does it take put cheese on a burger?" Is five. A new employee comes out of the back and finally puts some meat and cheese on my burger. But not before berating the pore kid for how he is putting the tinfoil down? This in between putting some more burgers, bacon, and a hot dog on the grill.

TLDR: 5 employees and 2O minutes for one burger? That said it was very tasty. Do yourself a favor and...

The best, fast burger around! I almost always order the little bacon cheeseburger. It's plenty of food for most adults, especially when you load it up with pickles, grilled onions, lettuce, tomatoes, etc! The fries are huge, so I only order them if I have someone to share them with. Both the regular and Cajun are delicious. The staff there are wonderful. I have been there at different times of day, and always been treated extremely well by the friendly cooks and cashiers. They will never add those piping hot fries to your bag until you are picking it up at the counter. If you can handle the calories, the milkshakes are fantastic. I order the chocolate with whipped cream, but there are many flavor options. The tables and floors are constantly kept clean. Haven’t had a Five guys burger in a long time. This Dedham location was good when I use to come here back before the pandemic. So was craving a burger and ordered double patty and bacon & cheese with lettuce and tomato extra pickles and a small fries and a large fountain drink. The staff person that took my order was friendly with a smile, the place was clean inside which was good to see. I love that you can watch your food being cooked, the cook was on point on the grill and I was happy with what I saw. Got my order in a timely fashion. Sat down to eat and it was awesome my burger was cooked perfectly, meat tasted good the bacon was crispy and cooked thoroughly! The fries are as good as I remembered!
