I have NEVER wrote a review of a place whether it was good or bad before. But this experience was absolutely horrid that I had to write it out. My partner and I used to get Indian Kitchen regularly during Covid. We decided to order take out after two years, and I will never ever recommend anyone this place. First of all, the Goat Vindaloo was not edible. Yes, I ordered it spicy (not extreme!) It was literally just Sambal hot sauce tossed in with raw potatoes (could not cut through it!) and tough goat. I’ve had sambal before so I knew that it was just hot sauce and not a curry. This used to be my fave dish, so it was an extreme disappointment. The garlic naan had absolutely no garlic or butter on it and was tough. My partner also ordered matar paneer which was tasteless. I have never been so disappointed in a Indian Restaurant before. There is one thing to not be authentic and serve to a western customer base. It’s another thing to be a disgrace to Indian food completely. Never ever ever again. I would recommend 10 other places before ever telling you to order here. Don’t waste your money.

The chaats are terrible. Papdi chat was missing almost every spice. It was bland and soggy. Barely taste any yogurt, the sweet chutney provided was more sour than sweet and lacked any hint of chilies or other spices. The Gobi Manchurian was like a giant tree of cauliflower (you do know that the cauliflower flower florets need to be broken down and then crisped) and soggy!! Surprisingly the flavor was better than it looked. The samosa chaat was decent - not exactly gourmet but it had some flavors come through. It lacked the crispy edges of the samosas and it looks more like a potato patty instead of a samosa. It’s a aloo patty chaat instead of a Samosa chaat. I don’t know what to say about the vegetable biryani because they forgot to provide the biryani (and wanted me to come back in person to provide a credit or pick it up again). The Paneer was decent, nothing gourmet again. The cubes were soft but the curry was just downright average. The naan on the other hand was just simply undercooked and raw!!

This is a takeout only place. When I ordered pickup on UberEats, it seemed like a solid deal - $14 for butter chicken, rice, and garlic naan. The food was also ready very quickly. The staff was nice & courteous. However, the food was disappointing. The "naan" was more like a roti. The butter chicken lacked dimension and was far too tomato-forward. They seem to have taken the "butter" part seriously but nothing else -- the dish was just a heavy, oily curry. The butter chicken & rice can feed two people. The 'naan' can barely feed one person.

I picked this place on a whim size I was in the area and it had started to rain. I didn't realize that it was take-out/delivery only until pulling up (Google should make this aspect of restaurants more prominent on search results). The interior is clean, well lit, and seems to operate smoothly as a commercial kitchen.

Taste of the food was good, but be aware that their channa masala is prepared in a non-typical way (the base was more like a creamy makhani than the more common light or dry preparation). The baingan bharta was very good, with a bit of smokiness. I also ordered dal tarka, which was excellent and had plenty of ghee in the broth.

Prices are typical for the Boston area (high, but not insane), but the portions are huge. It would have been better if there were smaller options at a lower price. I didn't realize until getting home that all prefers come with rice, which meant the quantity of bread I ordered was way too much! If you do want bread (naan, battura, chapati) then order no more than 1 per person. Also keep in mind that since it is take-out/delivery only, puffy breads may lose some of their uniqueness (e.g. puri or battura). The mango lassi size is HUGE, and they also have a gallon sized option!!!

One suggestion to the owner: you should definitely add pav bhaji to your menu. Except for the pav, you have all the ingredients you need, and I'm sure your cooks would make a great version of this! It would hold up super well for delivery, and could be a nice smaller sized option to pad the menu a bit.

If I were in a similar situation, I would come here again (better prepared with the knowledge of my...

I went on uber eats app for indian kitchen and it said on the page 30 to 45mins delivery, so I decided to order.i placed my order at7pm and after making payment it said it will reach by 8.10. I was not happy but said its ok will wait. At 7.45, I dint get any intimation from uber eats so I made a call to indian kitchen and they said that food is ready but no one has come to pick up. I then chatted with uber eats ..they first acting very smart said the food is not ready as its a busy night, but when I told them it's ready they said oh let me check and then came back saying that they are finding a rider and then changed the delivery time from 8.10 to 8.20. I decided to cancel the order so they said that they wud charge me 25 dollars as the food is prepared. And in the mean time while the chat was goin on the time changed to 8.30 delivery time. I finally decided to cancel and was charged 25 dollars. This is absolutely ridiculous on uber eats part. If they cannot deliver they should not put up wrong timings. Becoz of them the restaurant's name is also goin down I guess this is how uber eats makes their money. The restaurant should take up this matter...
