If you don't have a huge urgency to get something fixed, honestly just learn to fix it yourself. My phone wasn't turning on so I wanted them to just take a look before seeing how much a repair would cost. They fixed it within an hour and without consulting me about charges or anything, they charged me $79. So while the service was quick, communication is severely lacking.
I went back and found that my phone also charged extremely slowly. I called back and they said it was likely a battery issue and they would have to replace it, which is honestly a good guess on the issue. The battery was perfectly fine before my phone had the issue but lithium batteries are known to act weird at times. I wanted to first confirm it was a battery issue so I opened the back of the phone myself and followed a youtube video on which cord to reconnect the battery. I noticed that the battery wasn't properly put back into place and when I reconnected it, the issue went away.
The person who took apart my phone didn't even properly put it back together and charged me 80 dollars (no parts were replaced so the price isn't including parts). If you're too scared to open up your phone and try and fix it yourself, just go to your carrier's repair center, the service there is actually consistant.
Edit: This is a response to the owner's response. Firstly, I have not opened the phone myself prior to my visit. I also asked prior to them opening my phone if it would cost anything, as if it was expensive, I thought I'd rather just attempt a fix myself. I was told that the diagnosis would be free of charge, to which the owner proceeded to fix it and charge me without notifying me at all during the process. I called days, not weeks, after about the charging issue and asked about the charge for the battery not to get a new battery, but to ask if they could take a look at the repair they did to see if they made an error in the reassembly. The price for labor and price for the battery are fine, since the phone did indeed turn on, I paid for the service, but if you had told me it would cost anything, I'd have left and no issues would have risen. However, none of this should matter. The owner's response fails to even mention the communication problems I addressed and doesn't even talk about their improper reassembly of my phone. This only raises questions on how professional this establishment is, which is only further questioned by the owner's decision to insult their customer instead of addressing the problems. I question why I should have to fix my own phone despite this "professional" doing so already. Again, none of the communication problems would have mattered had my phone been properly fixed.
TLDR; just go to a more professional place. They'll fix your phone and take accountability for...
Read moreI was rooting for these guys. They seemed nice and like they were just trying to make a living which i can respect. What i cannot respect on the other hand, is coming to find out after i picked up my phone that they had left a phony 5 star review for themselves under my name, using my account which must have already been logged in. My boyfriend kept telling me to go to the apple store but this place seemed quick and the reviews were really great... well now i know why! Im petrified that they stole other information from my phone as well. So, ill be bringing my phone to apple after all... just as soon as i change all my passwords. Super unprofessional and super uncool, dude. Here is the review they found themselves worthy of, for reference: I was recently in Easy Fix LLC the other day looking to get my phone fixed. I had broke it at a party the night before and it ruined my night tremendously. My awful attitude carried into the next day when I came into the Easy Fix LLC store where I was greeted by a wonderful man by the name of Javier. He claimed to be the assistant manager but with how well educated he was with the products and friendly he was, he could have easily been mistaken as the owner. As stressed as I was, he made me feel a lot better, and more comfortable leaving him with my phone. I just knew it was in good hands. He made me feel that he had everything under control and made it clear he would take care of me. After fixing my phone, quickly, he found me a case that he explained would proven this from happening again.
Doesnt this sound like a lot of the positive reviews on their page? I wonder how many people theyve done this to who havent noticed. The most messed up part is i probably wouldve given these guys a good review if i had gotten around to it in the next few days. Hopefully this teaches...
Read moreNEVER, NEVER, NEVER use these people!! !! I originally raved about this place because they came to my house on a Sunday night and fixed my iPhone in 20 min.. However, 2 days later, the home button and screen did not work, and the screen began to get tiny cracks in it (which I thought was just the screen protector that I also purchased from them and also began to lift (which I have never seen before). I took my iPhone to the Apple store to get the battery replaced and they told me that whoever put my screen on did not do it correctly and that the screen was cheep that they couldn't lift it to replace the battery. They suggested I contact the people that put the screen on because the quality was poor and the screen was lifting. I called John to let him know. John admitted that the screen that he had put on was faulty and that he had other complaints and that he was waiting for a new batch from over seas, and when it arrived, he would replace it. When it finally did arrive, he told me he would come over to replace it at 9 PM. two days later, another guy shows up at my house at 11:30 PM and says that his brother misunderstood me and he would have to charge me another $90 to replace it. PLEASE save your money and replace your screen at the Apple store for $30 more, it is SO worth it (and...
