I discovered this surprising hole-in-the-wall hot dog and fast food joint on a recent run. This small outlet serves great, “junk” food that is definitely better than other fast food restaurants. You should certainly get the perros paisas, which is their signature Colombian-style loaded hot dog. The mega dish is essentially a classic boiled dog, covered in melty cheese, bacon, shredded lettuce, potato chips, and of course, mustard and ketchup. The portion is huge, so you certainly get bang for your bucks, and can share with another friend or take the leftovers home. There are other dishes likes loaded fries and hamburgers, but I was so full I did not have room to try anything else. The restaurant is small, so not ideal to linger too long. I really liked the employees who worked there. I have not experienced anything like this before, so I recommend trying them...
Read moreA small, cute, little space with hot dogs you’ve never seen before- Medellín style! The employees were so friendly and made our experience feel like we were family. Although the restaurant is small, they even had high chairs for my 1 year old. There isn’t a restroom though, so plan accordingly. I ordered the Guachafita because I’m not a huge hot dog person but my friend is from Colombia and he looooooved the Perro Paisa and honestly, it looked amazing. It was topped with bacon… and wow! The Guachafita had so many flavors. The only thing I wished for it was hot sauce. 😆 My friend gave the approval for authenticity- we will definitely visit again. Parking can be a little tricky just because it’s East Boston but luckily we were able to find parking right out front on an early...
Read moreI usually don’t write reviews on places. However Perros Paisas is a absolutely delicious place to eat. My work partner and I decided to try some food around the area and this place looked great so we stopped by and were welcomed by a amazing staff. They recommended us a Columbian Burger, it was loaded with delicious toppings. Bacon, mozzarella cheese, pineapple spread, coleslaw, very tasty meat, and a toasted bun. Overall I will come back, like I said previous the staff were absolutely amazing and welcoming. The service was an easy 10/10. The Wait time was about 10 minuets but it was worth it, you can’t really worry about the time when everything was stellar. Thank you, Perros Paisas and the wonderful woman at the counter! Always support your local...
