I really like their pastries. The filling is quite different from the norm and they're less sweet than regular pastries.

When you walk in, you see bunch of trays and tongs. Pick one of each cuz soon that tray is going to be full! The wall is lined with shelves of delicious treats. I love their red bean bun. They also have typical flavors like chocolate, hazelnut on different types of pastries. Other goodies include apple pie, cronuts, etc. They also have warm savory snacks, bread, roll cake, cake slices for purchase along with coffee, but I've never tasted it.

My absolute favorite here is their fresh cream cake. We've gotten one multiple times and everyone's loved it. Oh so delicious. It is layered with fruit - mix berries on top, sliced strawberry inside. The cake just melts in your mouth - so good. And again, it's not too sweet. The best part is they usually have it available in the window in case you need a cake for an occasion but forgot to place an order.

Service is quick and with a smile. The ambiance is also nice - generally quiet, mostly students. Parking is on the street, but it's Harvard Ave, so walking here or taking the T might be better.

Cake was great but a staff member from yesterday evening on 11/21/23 seemed to have her preference on who she wanted to assist. She ignored me everytime I looked her way and I said hi, she stared at me and walked off. Then she proceeded to help customers that got in line after me. I kept silent about it and when I stood there waiting for help after she cashed out those customers that were behind me, she appeared annoyed to help me when I asked if I could purchase a cake. The other staff member was much more friendly but she went in the back for awhile so I had to deal with the rude one. I only bought the cake here as a last resort but it was tasty. I almost walked out without purchasing anything due to the bad attitude of this one employee. Even after my purchase she kept staring at me with annoyance and disgust. I really wish I had the other employee to assist me and that would have made my first experience at this bakery better. It's a shame the cake was so good but I disliked my experience with their staff member so much I wouldn't want to come back. No one should feel unwelcomed like that. I purchased a cloud cake (6 inch) on March 10th 2024, through the phone with the store. They asked for my card number and security code through the phone, which I did not realize was inappropriate at the time. Then after they got my card information and placed this order, they told me oh this cake could not be delivered, so what they could do was cancel my order and ask me to purchase again on Uber Eats, which I strictly followed, and they promised they had already issued my refund. But now it’s been almost a month, the money is still not back. I contacted them several times and they constantly told me that oh we will let the manager contact you. But when I asked them to send me a picture of proof that shows they actually issued the refund on their side, they could not show any proof and refused to receive my call (I believe they have blocked my phone number). This is definitely the worst shopping experience ever. Bad service. Dishonesty. They still owe me around 47 bucks for that cake to today. I need them to give...
