Disappointed and deeply offended by the staff’s behavior
This McDonald’s is close to my home, and I used to come here quite often even though they always got my orders wrong 😑 . But after today, I’m honestly furious and extremely disappointed.
When I picked up my order, I saw a tray with my drink and sauces on it but without any label. Assuming the food on the tray was also mine, I took it to my table without checking further.
Less than a minute later, a middle-aged male staff member with a noticeable accent came over angrily and started aggressively questioning me: “WHY DID YOU TAKE THIS TRAY?! WHY DID YOU TAKE THIS TRAY?!”
I explained, “Because my drink and sauces were on it, I thought it was my order.”
His attitude was rude and confrontational. He snapped back, “THIS IS NOT YOUR ORDER. You can’t take it!”
I lost my temper and asked, “Then why did you put my drink and sauces on someone else’s tray?? Whatever, just take it back.”
He responded, “It’s not about ‘whatever’ — it’s not your order!!!”
Then he just walked away… I checked my bag and realized that my McCrispy Strips were missing from the order. Only after my husband went to the counter to ask again did they finally give us a new bag with the chicken strips.
This situation could have been easily avoided if they had properly labeled the orders. Accusing customers of stealing food is way too far. And if they hadn’t placed my drink and sauces on the wrong tray to begin with. Mistakes happen — but the way I was treated made me feel like I was being accused of stealing.
The most disturbing part is that I noticed how friendly this same staff member was to other white male customers afterward…… I can’t help but wonder — was this racial bias? Or gender bias? I’m an Asian woman, and I walked away feeling humiliated and singled out.
Honestly, I was exhausted from work and didn’t have the energy to argue, but the incident ruined my evening. This kind of customer treatment is unacceptable, especially from a global brand like McDonald’s.
Side note: The McCrispy Strips were actually delicious — but no amount of flavor can cover up that kind...
Read moreTitle: A Nugget Adventure with Kerwin Frost - I'm Lovin' It!
As a self-proclaimed connoisseur of the golden, crispy delights known as chicken nuggets, I embarked on the latest gastronomic journey at McDonald's - the Kerwin Frost Chicken McNuggets Meal. Here's the scoop:
First off, let's talk about the nuggets. They're not just any nuggets - they're Kerwin Frost's nuggets! Imagine my excitement, akin to finding a rare Pokémon, as I bit into these little pieces of heaven. The crunch was like a symphony, each bite a crescendo of perfectly seasoned chicken. If Mozart made chicken nuggets, these would be it.
The meal came with a side of fries, which I'm convinced are grown in some secret, enchanted McDonald's potato garden. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside - a classic act, but always a crowd-pleaser.
Now, for the pièce de résistance - the sauce. Oh, the sauce! It's like they took the essence of joy and bottled it up. Dipping the nugget into the sauce was a moment of transcendence. I half expected a choir to start singing in the background.
To wash it all down, I had a soda which, I must say, tastes remarkably better when sipped through a straw while contemplating the culinary masterpiece that is the Chicken McNugget.
In conclusion, the Kerwin Frost Chicken McNuggets Meal isn't just food; it's an experience, a journey through taste and texture. It's like a party where the nuggets are the guests of honor, and your taste buds are the ecstatic partygoers.
Rating: Five out of five golden nuggets. Would embark on this nugget adventure...
Read moreWow today was the worst experience I have ever had at this location and I go here a lot. The male that was about in his twenties that claimed to be a manager at this location walked away after stating they’re didn’t have our mobile order. We checked the location it was the correct location the last time this happened there a code we provided to the manager and the female manager typed in the code and we got our order. The manager tonight said the code was too long and not the correct code we read the one the app advised us to use for the crew member we even showed him where it said provide this to the crew member upon arrival and instead trying to figure out the solution to this issue the way the previous manager had in the past, this person walked away and said “we don’t have it. “ This is by far the worse experience I have seven had at this location. I have never had a problem with any employee here before but this was the highest level of disrespect. I was most definitely upset because I had walked through the process at this very location with another employee who knew exactly where to input the code and I was able to get my reward and value meal. I do not know the name of the manager that was there February 2 2022 at around 6:50 pm, but I pray that this location still has the sweet lady that helped me work the mobile order because this other manager is by far the worst employee at this location I have ever dealt with. And I have been going to the location on 17th ave...
