The store was dirty, with overflowing trash cans and litter scattered everywhere. Seeing the condition of the place made me feel uncomfortable from the start. We waited at the counter for about ten minutes without being helped. I understand that sometimes there can be delays, especially since I’ve worked in fast food myself, but I had placed a mobile order 20 minutes before arriving, and it was already ready. I could see it just behind the rack. Rather than putting my order on the designated mobile order rack, it was left on the counter just out of reach. My friend and I weren’t the only ones waiting, and we spoke with another customer who was also hoping for someone to acknowledge us and hand over our mobile orders, which were already prepared. He mentioned that he had been waiting for quite a while and couldn’t understand why the store offered order-ahead options if it was still going to take an unreasonable amount of time to receive food that was already made and packaged. After waiting and noticing that no one seemed available to assist, I decided to grab my food before it got cold, especially since I had already paid for it online.
At that point, a woman who I assume was the manager, a short, chubby black woman, unfortunately I wasn’t able to see her name tag, walked by and gave me an unpleasant look, though she made no effort to assist us earlier. Instead, she grabbed a chair from a nearby table while continuing to give me angry glances. In doing so, she accidentally bumped into an older man passing by, which was uncomfortable to witness. It was extremely clear that she wanted me to know she was upset about me grabbing my own order, as she kept glaring at me with direct eye contact the whole time, until she bumped into the man and apologized like she was embarrassed. It’s disappointing that rather than focusing on helping a customer, her attention seemed more on expressing frustration with me.
Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I would have appreciated more attention to service. This was an incredibly disappointing experience. Chipotle isn’t cheap, and I feel I was more than patient waiting ten minutes for an order that was already prepared. I regret choosing this location and leaving a tip through the app. For the sake of the customers and the young employees, I hope the store can find...
Read moreOne of the worst places to pickup from while doing door dash/Uber. If anyone is wondering why your food shows up cold, us drivers have to basically fight the cashier to get them to bring over the mountain of orders they have piled up. They will let your order sit there until they have 12 other orders ready to bring over to the actual pickup shelf. Sometimes there will be 6 drivers waiting for the pickup orders and instead of just bringing them over, everyone just has to sit there and look at them. Their drink problem is absolutely out of control and I strongly recommend not ordering one at all. The employees are supposed to put it in the bag with your food and 98% of the time, they don’t. If you place and order through the chipotle website for delivery, is drivers can not see what your order is. We are left completely in the dark and when we show up and you ask where you drink is, we had no idea. This location is always extremely well staffed. They even have a dedicated area to prepare online orders and yet it is always a fight to get someone to bring the orders over. There is simply no excuse for any of this and you only make all the problems worse. Please just have patience and understand with your delivery person if you do chose to order from here. We are literally walking into a circus every single time.
Edit: this place is still horrible. I see some of your reviews. I can promise you, not a single employee in this place actually care. Hardly any of them are ever willing to actually do their jobs. They recently started keeping all online orders behind the counter. So now when you go to pickup, you have to wait in a pickup line. This pickup line is run by the cashier who won’t give you orders until they are done ringing people up. 99% of the time I stand there for 10 minutes just looking at all of your food getting cold. This place could be run better by a 13 year old. So whoever you are manager, you should consider something different and let someone who knows what they are...
Read moreI am writing to share my experience as a loyal Chipotle customer. Chipotle is one of my favorite restaurants, and I consistently appreciate the freshness of your food.
However, I've noticed a significant difference in quality across your locations. Specifically, the Chipotle on 28th Street in Boulder stands out as the best I have ever visited in in USA. My family and I frequently try various Chipotle locations throughout the country and none compare to the exceptional quality provided at the 28th Street Boulder location. I've also heard countless others express the same sentiment, with many people driving from as far as neighing cities just to eat there.
This particular Chipotle consistently offers juicier meat and an overall superior dining experience. In contrast, I often find it difficult to finish a burrito from other locations due to a perceived lack of quality, while I could easily enjoy two burritos from the 28th Street location because of its outstanding flavor.
I strongly urge you to investigate the practices at the 28th Street Boulder Chipotle. Perhaps working with the manager of this location could help elevate the quality standards at other nearby Chipotles. Implementing the same standards across all your restaurants, especially regarding meat preparation and overall food quality, would undoubtedly lead to increased customer...
