I have always loved this food, that is not my complaint. My complaint is the total and utter lack of regard I've gotten recently in simply trying to order a salad for pickup. I dislike all of the premade options and used to be able to build my own salad which was perfect. I can make a few substitutions but not online, because there is no option to do so online, so I have to deal with a lengthy phone system while at work trying to make sure that my order will also come out correct (which it never does, and I have to eat faulty orders because I don't have time to have my entire salad remade.) I also don't understand why I was told I could get it on a plate and then refused a plate when handed my food and always forced to eat out of the plastic while I'm sitting around everybody else with nice silverware and things, simply because I didn't have time to place my order in-store and eat it all on my lunch break. Well, this was my final straw, today. Everything was so poorly handled that I couldn't even stomach the decent food and the staff was entirely rude about trying to handle the situation, which they also did not seem adequately equipped to process. It is obvious there is no drug testing or managerial restrictions on using drugs in the workplace. A simple apology would have sufficed. Enjoy the hundreds of dollars I've paid your location in salad money over the past few years... you'll never see another dime from me. Do not attempt to pick up or eat out at this place if you have places to be... The salads are decent if you can stomach awful customer service and want to ensure that any special requests you made were properly understood when...
Read moreFor being a "modern" market, they sure are behind the times. The sad part is I love the one off of I25 and Arapahoe. This is my first negative experience, but was very much so dissapointing.
First off, a decent amount of staff had facial hair while working with food. Not a big deal, but I definitely kept an eye out for a curly Q in my sandwich.
Second of all, there are no straws or lids for the beverages. Not a huge deal either, but kind of annoying if you want to grab a refill for the road. Also, they ran out of ice. Something I would have personally planned better for during lunch time.
The third issue, however, was unacceptable, which was my meal. I get the Chipotle steak everytime I come here, and as soon as it came out I was disgusted. The cucumber they put on the side was wilted and oozing out water, like it had a bad cold or the flu. Next, my sandwich was cold. There's something unsettling about a cold steak sandwich, sort of like the word moist.
The final issue was my ladies meal. She ordered the coconut Thai salad, and it came out with half of the lettuce wilted, and barely any dressing. It's a good thing she's been with me for a while, because if this was a first date she would have been repulsed.
Now, these are the kind of issues I would expect with a bottom end fast food place. But for paying almost $30 for a meal for two, well let's just say they make McDonald's look like the melting pot.
Bottom line: unhappy, service is non-existent, subpar at best food, and even as I'm writing this I have flies buzzing around me. Step it up guys because this...
Read moreReally disappointing in the cleanliness and allergen preparedness department :( I understand that salad chains often have all the ingredients in close proximity to one another, but in my bowl I found 4-5 "tag along" ingredients - including mango salsa, which I am allergic to. I took a look at the salad bar to discover every single one of their ingredient pots is contaminated with the other ingredients around it, and moreover that all of their proteins are sliced on the same (uncleaned-looking) cutting board. I'm allergic to the sesame crusting on one of their proteins and I'm lucky I took a look before eating my protein, which was ostensibly sesame-free. I informed my server of my allergy when ordering and recieved neither a warning about cross-contamination nor (it seems) any special cleaning of the equipment or basic measures for the prevention of cross-contamination that other salad chains have done. Again, I know eating at a salad chain with my allergies is a risk and I don't expect to be accomodated - but I'm sure even abled customers don't want to be accidentally eating mango salsa, mozzarella cheese, sesame seeds, and tortilla crisps on their salads that were supposed to contain none of those items. Or at least give people a warning that they shouldn't eat here if they are allergic to ANYTHING on the menu!
Ambience is unobjectionable, very corporate clean. The food that my friends got to eat was not remarkably good or bad; just a...
