The new Embassy Suites by Hilton Boulder is the best kept secret in Boulder for hosting your wedding or other special event! Finding a venue is often the hardest part of event planning, but once you discover and book the Embassy Suites, the rest of your planning will have you feeling at ease.
As a Boulder-based Wedding Planner & Designer, I am constantly challenged with matching couples with the perfect wedding venue. The Embassy Suites ticks all the boxes starting with its versatility. You have the ability to host your event in a variety of stylist spaces both indoor and out. Think al fresco dining on the outdoor courtyard, or a vibrant cocktail hour in the light-drenched bar area. Having multiple modern and stylish spaces to work with, you’re able to truly customize the experience for your guests.
Beyond its versatility, The Embassy Suites has the BEST staff who genuinely cares about the details of your event and will go the extra mile to ensure it’s executed to perfection. As a Wedding Planner, I’ve worked with many Venue Managers and working with Brittany is a breath of fresh air. She’s enthusiastic, quick to respond and full of ideas to help bring your vision to life. You’ll feel like you have a true partner on your side from start to finish. She’s such a joy to collaborate with! High quality service is essential and without a doubt, you’ll be in good hands with the entire team.
Another showstopper of The Embassy Suites is the impeccable food and culinary experience. After hosting the first wedding at the hotel, I was sincerely impressed by the quality of food, portion size and variety. The market vegetable and charcuterie displays are among the best I’ve seen - endless options for guests to nosh on and not to mention, an artful and beautiful addition to your event!
Whether you’re welcoming out of town guests or locals, The Embassy Suites also solves your accommodation needs with modern rooms that include a fun perk - made-to-order breakfast! The entire combination offers a truly special location to celebrate - one that is sue to wow your guests. Speaking from experience, I recently hosted my husband’s MBA graduation party in the bar area and guests are still raving about their experience - it far exceeded our expectations and now, I’m looking for another excuse to throw and event here.
Thank you to the entire Embassy Suites events and catering team for all you do to provide a premium event experience in the heart of our...
Read moreWe stayed here the night before and were transferring to a different room. We had to check out of the previous room then check into the next room. We planned on a big day of riding mountain bikes and returning for a refreshing shower, a shave, and relaxing before hitting the town. because checkout is at 11 and check in is at 3 we didn’t know what to do with our stuff. The staff at the front desk told us to leave our stuff in our old room and when we came back from our ride we would have our stuff already transferred to our new room. We made sure to leave a five dollar tip for the cleaning staff to transfer our staff two rooms over to the new room. The front desk told us our new room should be ready by noon but that check in was officially at three so it could take that long. We got back to the hotel dirty and exhausted at 2:20. The room wasn’t ready but the front desk lady said that it would be ready by 3. When we came back at 3:30 the room still wasn’t ready. My wife and I then sat and waited in the lobby dirty and tired. I wife even fell asleep on the lobby couch while we waited. It was just over an hour and a half past check in when our room is finally ready. When we got up to the room our staff was not there. Luckily I was able to find a young lady in the hallway who let us into our old room to see if our stuff was still there. It was and we had to take our stuff two rooms over toward our new room. Old room still hadn’t been cleaned yet and our stuff was still there, but the tip we left for them to move our stuff was gone. Once we finally had a chance to take a shower we found that soap had been put in the conditioner bottle because when I try to use conditioner air only lathered my hair. The conditioner in the other room did not do that so I know they don’t use a conditioner/shampoo combination. My father is African so I have really curly kinky hair and will use a little bit of conditioner left in the hair to manage it. This was yet another huge inconvenience of this stay. The staff at the front desk were friendly but there really wasn’t anything they could do to get us a room any sooner. The only thing they offered us was two free drink tickets at their bar. Which when you consider their offer a coffee bar from 5:30 to 7:30, two free drink tickets doesn’t really mean a lot, especially when our plan for our visit in Boulder was to hit up several local breweries and tap houses. Overall, my wife and I are highly disappointed...
Read moreWe stayed at this newish Embassy Suites because of proximity to the CU Stadium. I believe I booked the most expensive room type (Mountain View balcony) and opted for all three available upgrades: early check in, high floor, late check out. At check in, I advised I opted for early check in and was told that I did not in a disdainfully condescending manner and that I could go on the list of people waiting to check in. I produced email. She opted to double down on the rudeness, told me my email did not matter and further instructed me to get out of line and she would get her manager (I did not ask for a manager). Other front desk person interceded and advised room was not ready (which is perfectly fine) but she would let us know as soon as it was. 20 minutes later while sitting in lobby, I hear original front desk woman loudly complaining about me to another woman who had just walked up (the manager I was supposed to wait for). I walk over to explain what actually happened. She didn’t care. It’s fine. Move on. Later that night when I return to room, there is a long apology note and some snacks. Presumably the other front desk person explained to manager what actually occurred and manager confirmed I did, in fact, opt for early check in and they were wrong. Sunday. Late Check out time. I respond to text communication from hotel to confirm time. Desk advises I was “given” a complimentary noon late check out. I reply that I’m not asking for anything free, but that I merely want to confirm the opted for late check out time and send screenshot of email confirmation. They reply 1:30 and acknowledge 21.00 fee. I call Hilton. They advise it is supposed to be 2:00 pm and state they will call and tell the front desk. I leave by 1:30. Get folio in email (that I typically never check) and see I was charged $50.00 for late check out. I call. Again desk denies I opted for 21.00 late check out and only concede when I point out I texted with the desk to confirm and state that I had previously texted a screenshot of confirmation email in text. Very shady. Very duplicitous. Very unprofessional. It seems as if they do not believe they have to follow any of the agreement they made with Hilton to be an Embassy property. Try any of the other...
