POOR CUSTOMER SERVICEChange of Management?** So, here's the scoop. I work close by to this Jamba Juice and I go in once and a while when I'm feeling "healthy". Not enough frequency to establish a pattern of Good vs Bad quality of service. At times it was slow. Other times they had a pep in their step. No harm, no foul, I didn't really care.... Until now.
Recently, I started handing more money over in exchange for some fruity blended goodness. With this increased frequency, I was able to establish a pattern of service. And here are the results...
Day 1: I walk into mildly busy staff of 3 with a few customers ahead of me. It takes a few minutes for me to get to the counter, then I order my not-so-fancy smoothie, and step aside. By now, I'm nose deep on Instagram trying to avoid human interaction. Off in lala land, I hear my name called and I'm on my way. It then hits me that it took about 10 minutes after I ordered for them to hand me my drink. Kind of long for a smoothie, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. So I go on about my day. Wait time: 15 min
Day 2: Two staff members on board and 3 other customers as I walk in. First thing I notice. It's HOT. Why is it hot? I'm talkin', at least 78 Degrees. I'm not the only person who noticed either. When asked, one of the employees said, "That's how the manager likes it". It was obvious they were being tortured by such obnoxious heat as well. So, I told them to tell their manager that, as a customer, I wanted to make a formal complaint about this new sauna that popped up at my local Jamba Juice. I left giving them the benefit of the doubt. Wait time: 20 min.
Day 3: Two employees, one of them new. I walk into no line and maybe one or two drinks being made. New guy takes my order. I go on my Insta adventure. About 10 minutes pass and I peel my eyes from my phone in anticipation to hear my name being called... and silence. Still no juicy goodness in my hands. Now, I'm lucky enough to have a break period that is lenient enough to allow for slow service, but I'm a little annoyed at how slow it's taking. My name is finally called, and I make a mental note of the time. I leave with neutral feelings and let the poor service go with a pass. Wait time: 30 min
Day 4: Current day. Four employees working up front. One or two people ahead of me. As I gaze at the same board trying to decide on whether or not I want the same 'ol thing, a few people walk in behind me. I'm thinking to myself, "Awesome! They have a full staff, this should be quick". So, I decided to pay attention today. I recall hearing a phone order come through, well after I had already ordered. Didn't think much of it, welp, because I ordered first. Here's what I saw next from the staff... -One person at the register. One person started making a fruit bowl thing. New guy was washing dishes. Other girl? Not a clue. -Lady behind register finishes up with customers and starts cleaning the glass. New guy is still washing dishes. Ghost girl finally appears and helps the Bowl girl get the rest of an order out to this guy. Not one smoothie was made in this time period. By now I'm thoroughly annoyed because a solid 5 minutes has passed with no smoothie action. -New guy, still washing dishes. Glass girl sees more customers walk in, rolls eyes. Ghost girl starts making one smoothie at a sloths pace. Bowl girl, on second bowl. -Ghost girl starts making my juice cocktail. New guy loves washing those dishes. Glass girl still taking orders. Bowl girl still working on second bowl. I finally have my name called. Wait time: 20 min
Conclusion: Poor service all around. Will not be back. Footnote: If there was a recent change in management, please know, that you have a lot of...
Read moreGiving 2 stars because we liked 3 of the 5 smoothies we bought. They took way too long to make them having 3 ppl in there. They had either a friend or employee come in, cut the line and went to the ppl making them and told them what he wanted. They put his in front of everyone else’s that was in there. They made him one and he wanted a bigger one so they redid that one. He stayed and talked to them the whole time which distracted them and slowed them down even more. My husband got the rest of the order, so they thought and he asked them where his was. She said ohh it’s being made now and goes back and makes it. She forgot. Then she rushed through it so my husband had a hard time drinking it with chunks of fruit all in it. Then the lady that waited a long time in front of us came back into the store to tell them hers wasn’t right and they had to redo hers. All of this probably could have been avoided had they not been socializing with that boy, making his smoothies and paid attention to what...

Unfortunately the brunette who helped us wasn't one of the chipper, skilled employees that has helped us before, in fact she seemed to have quite the smug attitude. As we waited for our smoothies, I looked up and saw her glaring at us with what seemed like contempt. Jeez, I know its boulder, but no need for the attitude. Ok big deal, poor attitude. I don't really care, as long as my order is right.
Either she wasn't listening, didn't understand, or didn't care and she made one of the smoothies wrong. The simple request of asking for a non standard menu item seemed to be too much for this gal. When I asked for it to be re made without strawberries, I got nothing but rolling eyes, attitude, and an argument and the other employee had to step in and help mediate.
If you hate your job and people that much maybe it's time for a change to a job in a non...
