Great place to go for a good bite at very reasonable prices. I have been stopping here for years now and I can say the quality of the food is always good and the portion size is usually enough to feed two people (So really good prices). If you really can put it away get a meal a person but sharing one entree is the perfect amount of food. I love their Kung Pao and General Tsao’s chicken. Very flavorful and comforting food. I have tried most of their menu and I have never been dissatisfied You can ask them to spice it up for you if you like too. And normally you are not waiting more than ten minutes. That’s hard to beat considering it is cooked fresh. Best part about this place though has to be the couple running it. The wife works the front and the husband cooks in the back. Both are incredibly nice people and will greet you kindly when you come see them. To give you an idea. Once I forgot my wallet and they told me “Don’t Worry. Next time.” When I came back next time to pick up my meal and pay for my other one, the wife refused to accept money for the meal I forgot my wallet for. They really care about giving you great service and food at great prices. This place truly is a perfect place to get some Chinese classics and not come out with an empty wallet. When it comes to the menu I don’t think you can find better food for the price. I guarantee you pay more at China Express and get way worse food or pay over $30 per person at other sit down joints. So support a family owned business and treat...
Read moreThis is hands down the best American-style Chinese food in town. No frills, savory food at sensational prices. My partner and I can usually get one entree and two soups to make at least 2 meals for around $16 w/ tip.
They've got a great variety of dishes, and if you like it a little more spice they are willing to accommodate. It's a family run business and they've always been consistently great with the quality of the meal and their service. We usually order food to pick-up, and if you order here often you know "10 minutes" is pretty standard for the time it takes to be ready. I think once it was 15 minutes, and they mean it; I've never waited for my order upon arrival.
Pro-tip, they have some of their spicy oil they use for their dishes on the counter by the other take-out gear, do yourself a favor and grab some to add to your dish (or other dishes at home).
People complaining about the food and the stores presentation (it's fricking clean people, it's just not sparkly and fake like your chain restaurants) should stick to Panda Express or P.F. Chang's if they can't handle the authentic tastes and feel of this old...
Read moreFirst impression of the interior had me worried, as it looks old, cheap, and basic. They have a few tables but no table service, you order at the counter. Came for an early lunch and it was almost empty. However, the food was delicious! Perfect sesame chicken, crispy, fresh, and flavorful. And by the time we were halfway through our meal, there was a line out the door. This is probably due to the combo of quality and price point; my $7 lunch included entrée, soup, fried rice, egg roll, and wonton. I deducted one star because they don't take AmEx and because the dining area was stiflingly hot. This place won't win any design awards and there is no attempt at atmosphere. But if you're looking for delicious Chinese food at a great price, this...
