The pho here is excellent. I cannot speak for the other food on the menu but I have had the pho several times and it is consistently delicious. Why 3 stars then? Several reasons. First, I am 90% sure they pre-portion their meat and noodles and you get one portion regardless of the size of pho you order. This is fine if you get the small because it is a nice broth-to-noodle/meat ratio, but if you get the medium size you have too much broth and once, I ordered a large thinking I could make two meals out of it but it was mostly broth with the intermittent noodle or slice of beef. Bummer. Also, they don't include thinly sliced white onion with the side plate of cold accoutrements, which, as an onion lover, I found disappointing. Finally, they don't have wifi. I would really only dock them half a star for this but as someone who tries a lot of pho in the Denver and Boulder area, I think it's time to recognize that many people enjoy pho as a lunch and would like to be able to use their computers while at these establishments. It's 2017 (almost). Get some interwebs flowing, people. Otherwise, this is a nice place with decent service & mildly overly ornate decor. The convenience of location cannot be beat so regardless of lack of connectivity and weird noodle portions, I'll...
Read moreI don’t know what happened here I have been coming regularly for awhile and usually it’s pretty good but last night it was terrible! The chicken in the pho was overcooked and tough to chew. We ordered boba 🧋 smoothie and the boba was all stuck together in a giant clump and would not break apart. I informed our server and he argued and said it would separate and refused to re make it so i drank the whole smoothie and it never separated. I was also charged full price for it. The rice we ordered seemed like it was sitting out for awhile. It was $90 for a side of fried rice and two bowls of pho and two boba. The bottles of siracha and hoisin sauce they keep in the tables had a crusty dirty spout/ lid and really needs to be cleaned. We won’t be coming back it was just too unacceptable in quality...
Read moreTo me This is lazy, boring over priced Vietnamese food. Sparce menu and not that original. They don't really try. Its not bad tasting but i ordered pho with meatball, and it came with one thin slice. I did something And they offered to bring more, but one shouldn't have to ask. The broth could be richer. Missmost of the flavor came from the lime and hoisin. For this area i guess its considered decent. But i lived in Orange county Cali and in Houston, so the bar is set pretty high for me. I offer no apologies for this review because if you're going to charge over $7 for a large bowl it best deliver and make me want to come back. I will have to try the other Vietnamese places in...
