Decent Korean food. Sadly place is not that clean. Ordered the Dubbob bowl and it came out nice and hot (temp) good flavor but was a one note kind of dish, not as flavorful as in traditional Korean restaurants. Had good amount of chicken, veggies and rice. One big issue I experienced is the not so clean space. I had to ask the guy behind the counter to clean the table I was planning to sit at because it had rice and sticky stuff on the table. He proceeds to wipe it clean but ignores the 3 other tables around me that was not clean. They also had rice, wet spots and newspapers on top that he completely ignored. This makes for an unhygienic and unappetizing environment to dine in. There were only 2 other people at the time I was there so they weren’t busy at all. Also the area where you bus your plates and bowls was full of dirty dishes and was not cleaned up the one hour I was there. The dish I tried was good but would not come back here because they are lazy about cleaning up. I could just imagine how the kitchen is if this is how incompetent they are about cleaning up the dining room area. Do better! Having a clean restaurant should be a given!

Came here after I saw a Groupon for $10 and the menu looked different and healthy. Got there as they opened. A couple outdoor tables and few more inside. Small but nicely varied menu. Got the Korean bbq bowl with tofu, mixed green instead of the rice and asked for side of kimchi with the bowl medium spicy. They had issues with the Groupon but still took care of me then with a cash back. Prepared fast to go. Owner tried to give me a cookie for the troubles but since I got the deal price in the end it felt wrong but I thanked her. While the dish had a bit more carrots then I would have liked to have it was a lot of food. The tofu was fairly small pieces but there was a lot of them in there. No kimchi on the side as I requested but I wonder if it was added as that was another option. The medium was a bit tame for my love of spice so next time will go hot. Good healthy food for the price so I will return. Only giving four stars due to wanting to go again soon and see if consistency. Then I will change to five. So if you see five…

Let me preface this by saying, this is coming from an actual Korean who is judging this place based on the authenticity of its cuisine. This was my first and only time eating here, honestly because menu items like “burrito” and “dub bob” really threw me off and made me laugh. I ordered the “suhn” which I assume is supposed to represent “soon dubu jiggae” which is a spicy soft tofu stew - a Korean classic. Well, I’m sorry to report that my suhn is nothing representative of actual soon dubu. I could tell before I even tasted it that I was about to be terribly disappointed... it’s filled with red onions and visibly watery. It actually resembles American vegetable soup more than korean stew. The taste was actually even more disappointing than I predicted, surprisingly. I think they simply mixed hot water with red pepper flakes, which I easily could have done myself without paying $10. Regardless, maybe there are better dishes on the menu. Or maybe if you’ve never had real Korean food then this place will impress you.

DO NOT GO HERE if you are looking for Korean Food. This food was boring white American food, priced accordingly for boring white American food, and falsely advertised as authentic Korean. If your "Korean restaurant" does not have white rice OR bulgogi even at request, it is not a damn Korean restaurant.

At the time of when Google suggested that I go here, this place had a 4.3 / 5 star rating with a $ / $$$$ rating, which seemed fantastic--the price alone according to Google was a sign that this was a legitimate Korean restaurant. I was swindled, however, with a whitewashed bowl of beef dupbop which cost $9 and would barely feed a child with its proportion. Additionally, the tea was mediocre in spite of this place REALLY trying hard to be a tea shop first, knockoff of a Korean restaurant second while also being overpriced, as well. It was only after that I arrived home disappointed by A Cup Of Gentrification that I read other Google reviews to see the blatantly-obvious five-star reviews made by people with a stake in this place's success praising this so-very-Boulder restaurant offset by the honest reviews of three or less stars. Terrible, terrible mistake on my part to assume that I would not be scammed. This was basically Naropa, The Restaurant: Embarrassingly white attempting to be "ethnic" while doing it entirely wrong, with an emphasis on image over quality or substance.

Truthfully, this place deserves a two-star rating with a four-$ rating when one considers quality, proportion, and price; two stars may even be too generous. Make no mistake, this is not Korean food, this is Korean-inspired white American food. Think Kashi but more expensive, and surprisingly more bland.

Hopefully this review warns away others looking to have legitimate Korean food, because I had no such luck with being...

My whole family -- kids included -- enjoys the food and tea here. We get takeout once in a while, but the service is sometimes so unfriendly that I limit my exposure. As an example, I tried calling a few times to place a pickup order at 7:20 yesterday, knowing that they close at 8. They didn't answer, but that had happened before so I drove over. I arrived at 7:25; as soon as I walked in the door, a woman shouted to me from the kitchen area that "we're closing in 30 minutes" (no hello, no pleasantries, just that). The guy at the counter repeated it to me, not shouting but also without any sort of greeting. I mentioned to him that I wasn't looking to sit down and eat anything, and that I'd tried to call a few times just to place a pickup order. He claimed they'd been "slammed", though there were only two couples in the restaurant at the time (5 minutes after my calls). He then overcharged me for my dish; when I asked him about it (I realized after I signed), he said he'd misunderstood. He didn't offer to change it or refund me, and it had already been unpleasant enough that I just let it slide. As I was waiting for my food, I saw the next customer walk out, saying loudly "We're going to find food somewhere else. We don't feel like being rushed." (I didn't hear whatever was said to them at the counter.)

Short story: great food if you can stomach the...
