Working in a deep corporate environment it's nice to have a real bagel shop to be able to turn to in the morning for the office. Moe's has always had consistent and fresh made bagels of a wide variety ready to go or have delivered which is also great. Moe's is also a good source for lox and cream cheese bagels. The portion you get is spot on so that nothing overpowers the other which tends to happen from other shops.
The pricing here is also really fantastic with a dozen bagels costing less then $1 per and they have an office pack giving you a nice bundle to just grab and go with. As far as the cream cheese goes our favorites are the plain, strawberry and garlic herb, which I have also gone to grab for use in some other dishes calling for cream cheese. It's Really full of flavor.
On top of all that they have a selection of toppings you can add as well to make a nice breakfast or snack like eggs, bacon, avocado and some other meats, plus the lox which you can purchase separately for your own uses if you don't want on a bagel.
My only real complaint which is somewhat minor is that if you get a bagel with cream cheese on it the price is over double meaning that a tablespoon of cream cheese costs more than the bagel itself which is a bit much given the cost of a whole tub of cream cheese. The cost to add cream cheese should be about 50 cents not $1.75. Its only a tablespoon or so. Its not that much money so is it really a problem? Not really but my brain doesn't ignore it.
Overall if you need bagels and tired of the hit or miss you get from other places and the supermarkets, I highly advise you...
Read moreSince moving out west about 15 years ago and as someone that is used to delis and bagels from the East coast anyone new to the area with a similar situation is going to be hard-pressed to find what they consider a good deli or bagel shop, You can find okay places but nothing you'd write home about. Moe's Broadway bagel definitely comes very close and sometimes is as good as any of the places back east...well not any but a bunch and well most bagels and sandwiches are definitely tasty it's not the quality of the food that makes me say it's as good as a bunch of the places back east and don't get me wrong the quality of the food is great it's the atmosphere of there two or three locations that remind me of places back east if you live near or just frequent a Moe's they get to know you since moving out west I've noticed that that's much rarer than it was back east but if you live near a Moe's and haven't eaten there yet you should and if you just happen to be driving by when you should stop in I always get either the Moe's breakfast burrito (MILD!!) Or a sausage egg and cheddar on a jalapeno bagel and if you get a small side of the jalapeno cream cheese to either dip or spoon on to it's as you eat it it's very good. and sorry I'm not going to tell you when I get to drink because it's already hardly ever there and hard to find around town You just have to get whatever you...
Read moreHonestly, it's pretty hard for me to leave this review because I grew up going to Mose bagels but the service and food has taken a massive dive. If you get a bagel that has any meat or egg on it, it'll be insanely greasy to the point where grease drips off of it. This wasn't the case when I was younger, you get a greasy bagel here and there, but now it's like every single bagel that has egg or meat is very greasy. This is just a Moe's bagels problem as I go to a bunch of different bagel shops and none of their breakfast, bagels or sandwiches are as greasy as Mo's. The service is also in decline, there are a few people who genuinely do care who work there. But if I'm paying 21 bucks for two bagels and the person who takes my order gets it wrong and doesn't apologize or say anything when I bring it back. Just brings me a new bagel after 5 minutes. It feels like there's a massive disconnect somewhere. The service I get at other bagel shops just feels so much better for like half the price.
Tldr: Moes bagels has declined to the point where service and food meh at best. The prices are outrageous and It's sad to see because Moe's is a staple in the boulder community. I hope It can bounce back but I won't be going...
