Sweet Cow — Restaurant in Boulder

Who doesn’t love tasty handmade ice cream?! We usually go to the location on north Broadway. Anytime of the day, we get greeted with a hello and a smile. Business is about good service for Sweet Cow.

I’m a big fan of ice cream sandwiches and my boyfriend just likes a pint. I loved the ice cream inside and appreciated the cookie taste of the sandwich, but the texture of the cookie isn’t 100% right for the hardness of the ice cream. They fall apart before you get to the center and they don’t squish so I can flatten the inside to reach the edges. So, there’s room to improve there.

My ice cream choice usually revolves around a spiced (chai, ginger, etc.) or chocolate. Their chocolates have so much cocoa...and I’m a dark chocolate fan, so the more cocoa, the better!

The Ozo coffee ice cream sandwich was one of the best coffee flavors I’ve had. Other cones that I haven’t taken pictures of were really yummy too.

The Broadway location has a good setup for directing traffic, in and out the same door. The Louisville location has one door as well, but it’s a crowd to get in and crowded to get out. So, I prefer the Boulder location.

By far the best experience we've had in an ice cream shop (which we go very often). We decided to visit Sweet Cow (thanks to Pinterest ) during our vacation in Colorado. We're from Miami so the customer service we usually receive is pretty dull, rushed, and rude. But the moment we walked in at Sweet Cow was completely different, the people especially a worker named Joe made us feel so welcomed and we left there in complete shock (due to everyone, even the customers being so nice). Because of this experience we started talking about moving to Boulder in the future, the location and especially the people won us over, and of course the cookies and cream ice cream. We can't wait to go back to not just Colorado but Sweet Cow. Thanks to Joe, theres nothing comparable to the Cookies and Cream ice cream and the customer service...

Great place to enjoy some really delicious ice cream in Boulder. Sweet Cow has other locations which I’m sure produce equally delicious ice cream, ice cream sandwiches, and ice cream cakes. The long list of flavors for scoops was daunting to work my way through, but the staff was kind and allowed me to indulge on a few samples to hone in my choice. Ultimately I landed on their Peanut Butter Brownie which was spectacular for peanut butter fanatics like myself. Sweet Cow strikes me as an establishment that will make you satisfied with whatever flavor you choose. Their ice cream sandwiches and ice cream cakes looked so good I’m pretty sure I began to salivate while waiting in line. I will absolutely come back for more sweets and look forward to trying their ice cream cookies and cakes...
