One of the worst customer service expediences of my life. Degrading id what it was. It's June 24th now. This happened sometime in April. I have patronised this Starbucks in the past. I have patronised many Starbucks previous to this experience. I have Not bought anything at one since. Nor will I ever again. I had come up to a bus stop about a hundred feet from the starbucks and realized that I did not have change for the bus. The smallest bill that I had was a ten. So I walk over to the starbuck'$ to get change. I had never spoken to the 20-22 year old blonde college student? before. I myself having worked many customer service related jobs and having managed many more walk up to the counter smiling and politely ask please and thank you for change She looks me in the face and boldly lied to me. She said "We don't do that". I said " do what?" "Give out change?" She replies "That's right give out change" We don't do that here". I absolutely could not believe those words had come out of her mouth. Crazy I thought that starbuck$$$ a huge corporation would not give, if not a customer already then a potential one something as simple as change. So I ask her if that is corporate policy. She of course replies that it is indeed starbuck$ policy to not hand out change. The only place where that would possible be true and maybe not even there would be a lower income, let us say ghetto with people that are not white live. Not that there are starbuck-$ in places such as those. Of course for fear of being robbed. So I left dumb founded. Here I was a life long Colorado and Boulder resident for most of those years being denied change because I had a backpack on. And had not showered as of yet that day. And might I ad that the bag in question was a $180 Osprey bag. So because of that one experience by a bigoted narrow minded girl I will never spend a cent at a starbuck$$$$$$$$$ again. But I shall continue to use the restrooms. Please you shut down for a day because of some racism that some of your employees showed to some african Americans. How about shutting down for a day for your lack of respect for the down trodden. The...
Read moreBest service in a Starbucks we have ever gotten!! Kacey (sorry if I spelled it wrong… maybe it’s Casey) was sooooo amazing! She went about and beyond to help us get the Colorado coffee mug my husband really wanted before we left to go back to KS. She was so nice and acted like it was nothing but her kindness was something we truly felt like was a treasure! Also, Victoria mad my iced shaken espresso and I realized I forgot to ask for it with almond milk and she, without hesitation, made it for me again but with almond milk. It was totally my mistake but she showed me the same kindness which just made my day. Also it’s the best iced shaken espresso I’ve ever had!!!! Thank you all for being so amazing in there and there was another guy who helped us that was super sweet too I’m sad I didn’t catch his name. Thanks again, we really appreciate the incredible customer service and the profound service skills you all...
Read moreThis is the worst Starbucks I have ever been to. It is dirty and disgusting with wet stuff spilled everywhere on countertops and floors. The young man with long blonde hair and glasses is incredibly rude and snobby. I heard him talking spit about customers' orders very rudely, talking as if he is better than everybody else. I noticed he put ice in my pink drink, which I reminded him I asked for no ice. He rudely said "I'm aware of that, it's very dangerous to dry shake. I'm going to scoop the ice out." Whatever that means. Also, there are homeless people living right outside the door, no lie. This was disgusting and disturbing. What happened to Boulder? It looks like it used to be a good Christian town decades ago and now it looks like it doesn't value human life. I will definitely not be returning to this Starbucks or any Starbucks in Boulder, or likely any other retailer in Boulder for...
