Great service, personable and attentive. Atmosphere is excellent (although you may need a flashlight - which they will kindly provide at request - to read your menu depending on where you are sat... but worth it!) with low lighting. Very chic. Small plates are offered, great and unique cocktails as well as food. I ordered the caesar salad and muscles. The salad comes with roasted reds, a lovely dressing, and a garlic cheesy slice of baguette, delicious. The muscles came in a smoky corn broth, nothing I have ever tasted before, with a slice of toasted baguette with some sort of yummy lobster spread, It was divine. My boyfriend ordered a country pate sandwich with garlic fries (I hate pate, theirs was a homemade mixture of chicken breast and pork wrapped in bacon... YUM!?) and a two bite burger. He loved the burger. The sandwhich was tiny (it was a happy hour special) but delicious. Fries were light fluffy and so good. If the meal in itself wasn't amazing enough already we ordered a s'more. OH MY GOODNESS. Cinnamon graham crackers, toasted vanilla bean marshmallow, and agostoni organic milk chocolate. I'm going crazy just thinking about it. Definitely coming back here... often... if not just for a great...

The Bitter Bar is an incredible cocktail spot in Boulder, Colorado that I cannot recommend highly enough! The staff is simply amazing - friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to help guide you through their impressive drink menu.

In particular, Ryan is an absolutely fantastic bartender who has become a personal favorite of mine. He takes the time to get to know his customers and their tastes, and always crafts a custom cocktail that perfectly matches my preferences. It's clear that he takes great pride in his work and is truly passionate about mixology.

The drink menu at The Bitter Bar is expansive and creative, featuring both classic and inventive cocktails that are sure to please any palate. The attention to detail in every drink is evident - from the carefully selected spirits to the perfectly balanced mixers and garnishes.

Overall, The Bitter Bar is a must-visit spot for anyone in Boulder looking for an amazing cocktail experience. The staff and drinks are top-notch, and Ryan is a true gem behind the bar. You won't be...

I recently jumped in an Uber and asked the driver for a recommendation on where to go mid week for a cocktail. His first was The Bitter Bar and I quickly realized why. The low lit relaxed vibe and warm energy of the bartenders made me feel right at home. I knew exactly what I was in the mood for and ordered accordingly. Not only was it mixed perfectly, the mixologist took the time to discuss my cocktail and then made a different one off menu with the same spirit to compliment it. I’ve worked in a few mixology bars as a bartender and spent ample time as a patron in dozens. Bitter Bar nails the craft while shaking the stuffy nature so common to similar joints where condescending mixologists and unnecessary processes are apparently factored into the liquor cost. Thank you Tuesday night tenders for a...

Fun spot in Boulder that’s a bit off the beaten path of Pearl Street. Opens at 5pm, just as shade starts to make its way onto the outdoor patio. Very friendly staff, attentive & knowledgeable. Fun drinks and they certainly don’t go light on the pours. The cocktails are fun but just shy of top shelf, hence the four star rating. This is a great go to for a solid cocktail at a great happy hour price. I had the Tin Man and did really like it. They have an awesome little mint farm going by the edge of the patio which was fun to see. I didn’t try any of their drinks with mint in them but if they are using the mint from this garden - that’s be super cool!

Bitter Bar is a local favorite. The drinks are inspired and made by legit mixologists with a passion for the constantly changing diverse world of spirits. The Cabin Fever, I Think Olive You and Hadi's Hibiscus are 3 cocktails that standout in my memory as outstanding. I always learn something when I come here. The ambiance is cool.. dark room with cool light installations, great taste in decor. Definitely check this place out! Keim is the bartender in the photograph, drink his concoctions!

Found this place by chance during our visit and were so impressed. The bartenders were exceptionally friendly, crafting delicious off-menu drinks tailored to our tastes. The service truly went above and beyond when one bartender, after we asked for a dessert place recommendation, brought us a surprise dessert sampler from a local shop. We felt like cherished regulars from the moment we walked in. Can't wait to return and highly recommend it to anyone in town.
