Starbucks — Restaurant in Bowling Green

This Starbucks just so happens to be the halfway point between my current life and my parents in Ohio. So at first I was excited to find a caffeine pitstop on the way - but have yet to have a positive experience or a decent drink at this store. Worse yet, I've changed drink orders each time: starting with my favorite to something I had assumed was so simple and hands off that it was a failsafe. It was not! All steamed beverages had a very obvious burnt taste -not sure if it's the espresso or the milk. My last trip I tried a green tea - the barista seemed annoyed with me so I actually chose this thinking I'd get out of her hair and the unwelcoming store faster and have a normal drink for my drive. Apparently she didn't have the time to properly submerge tea bags in hot water - which I would have gladly done by myself instead! The teabags were plopped in - the string and paper tabs left in the water. So I ended up with little bits of paper floating about and unable to safely remove the teabags from my cup without burning myself. In the end: that's a five dollar cup of tea that was undrinkable! My business is going elsewhere from now on - and I highly suggest other weary travelers...

This location is so well put together. They are on top of orders. Today was apparently red cup day and so they were more busy than usual. I just went for a routine SB run. I had to wait a little longer for my drink, but the employees were working nonstop and were all very kind while they were overworked. I didn’t know it was red cup day so I checked with the front counter about my mobile order to make sure it went through (because I wasn’t sure with technology lol). The front was so kind, offered to make my order later if I had to leave or to refund me. I was perfectly willing to wait as I knew how hard they were all working. Everyone at this location deserves a raise. Very impressed with the professionalism, positivity, and swiftness. Keep up...

Stopped in at 8:31 pm to get a coffee. They were cleaning machine so could not get a coffee. They said they have to clean the machine 20 minutes before closing. Asked what time they close. Said 9 pm. I said that is 29 minutes from now so would like a coffee. Said they couldn’t. Asked if they could do a pour over. Said they didn’t “have the stuff” for that. Asked for a manager or managers card. New manager and didn’t not have any cards. This is not the 1st time or even 2nd time we have encountered this at this Starbucks. Sucks when you leave a BGSU sporting event, have a drive home, would like a coffee and you cannot get one. Very disappointing and very poor...
