Im originally from Nashville, Tn and this is my first time ordering from here. I was craving some good ole soul food and saw this was the only place in BG so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the chicken and dressing with a side of mac, pintos, greens and potatoe salad. The mac and cheese was horrible, it had a weird sweet taste and it was basically elbow noodle in cheese water. Never again. The dressing was ok, a bit salty for my taste and didn't taste homemade at all. The greens, pinto beans and potato salad however were pretty decent. I also ordered a Philly which tasted under seasoned as well as the pineapple cake which was kind of odd tasting to me. Mac & Cheese 0/10 - Very sweet with a strong milk taste.

Greens 8/10 - Well seasoned.

Pinto beans 4/10 - Strong vinegar taste but not bad.

Potato Salad 6/10 - Pretty good with a strong pickle taste.

Yellow cake with caramel icing 7/10 - Good taste but just too sweet for my enjoyment.
