Have known these guys for decades, went to school with them. They're sensible, experienced, and more affordable than any other installer in the area. I know--I checked. Just once, asked Best Buy installer what they'd charge for an identical install of a poorly-made JVC deck...they quoted me over $100 just for labor, went back, apologized to Steve for 'shopping' around on him, and Steve chided me a little, reminding me he'd always the same exact install for $40-$60 (this was around 2009--the last time I went anywhere else). Steve, Marcellus, and sometimes Chris (Marcellus' brother) are indeed the best in BG, and always will be. I'm not an idiot, either--I've always sought the best equipment for the purity/clarity/punch, and they've always known exactly what to suggest & recommend, no matter what car I was driving. I have excellent taste in music, mostly rock, but some other genres as well, and whoever is paining these guys with negative reviews probably just wanted something gross stuck in their trunk to wake their 'hood, without even caring about what it would sound like in the first place (that's where the word 'sensible' came in my review above). I've actually overheard Steve asking the occasional chronic noise ordinance busters (people who just want to be heard, not to hear their music, at all), questions like "are you interested in hearing your music, or just making everybody else hear it", often--I'm sure--at their own client-base cost. It's all in what you're looking for--if you want near audiophile (or 'Total') quality, take it to TIA--if you're driving around a portable meth factory and dumb enough to want a trunk-rattler thumper so deafeningly-loud you can't even hear it yourself, but for some reason are entering kidney dialysis prior to age 20 (from the constant 'shock and awe'--in between arrests, since cops can hear, too--surprise!), then just be an complete and total dufee and take it 'elsewhere'. If you wanna feel the punch, yet have some self-control remaining in your 'remote-hand', then TIA are your men for the job, no matter how challenging it is, and, from what I've seen, almost every vehicle you could own (boat, R/V, car, truck, etc). Even local cops get their Kenwood cop radios installed here--and they kindof rely on sensible pricing and 'eternal' reliability, so just look at them as perfect examples of demanding needs met by TIA, if you...

Within 3 weeks I blew my sub's twice 🤦🏻‍♀🤦🏻‍♀, not only were they not mad at me, but they basically stopped what they were doing and took the time, both times, to fix me up and get me on the road. Then, I ended up later having to install a new battery, and they were MORE than happy and willing to help me get my settings back right so I could continue to beat down the block!! I just purchased a pair of MoviesToGo Headrest DVD Players ((Universal...fits any vehicle). These guys are simply the best in every category of auto entertainment systems. Their knowledge alone would be worth paying extra, but you'll find their prices to be equal or generally less than everyone else.
