Ordered 3 pizzas from this location today. The pizzas were decent, a little heavy on the sauce and the "extra" cheese that I ordered on 2 or my 3 pizzas was rather skimpy.
However, there was an issue with the delivery. The delivery time was estimated as 30-40 minutes in the email I received after posting my order online. No problem, We don't mind waiting for decent pizza. However once we hit the 55 minute mark, I began to wonder if the order had been placed properly, so I called the store to confirm an ETA.
First of all, the young man on the other side of the phone was nice enough, though very soft spoken, I could barely hear him over the line (I am 22 years old, so no it was not a hearing problem on my end) and I was told that my delivery would be arriving "sometime in the next few minutes" because the driver had waited for some other orders that had also come in about the same time. Not a major problem, the driver was only running a little late, so I thanked him and hung up. About 20 minutes later I get a knock on my front door, my neighbor and his friend who just so happened to be sitting under my carport (only shade in the area at 5 PM) said the pizza guy had just arrived, I grabbed my credit card and went to the door (most delivery places have rules set into place where they have to SEE the card that was used online to verify that the card holder is in fact the person who placed the order, also the card holder generally has to sign a copy of the receipt).
By the time I got to the door, the pizzas were in the hand of my male neighbor (clearly not the AMY listed on the order receipt and printed ticket on each of the individual pizza boxes) and the delivery guy was already getting back into his car. I tried to wave him back up the driveway but he was not paying attention to the house he had just delivered to. My neighbor (still holding my pizzas) said "I told him [the driver] we would get you to come out" and the drivers response was "don't worry it's already paid for". Glad to know papa johns is so unconcerned about the accuracy of their deliveries. Also, based on my experience, if anyone needs to use a stolen card, they will more than likely get as much pizza as they want from this location without anyone ever knowing.
He didn't stop at my door, didn't make sure the card was legitimate, and didn't seem to care either. Perhaps this is because he already knew what his tip would be (since I added it to the price of my order when I was checking out online.)
Needless to say, I am certain this will be the last time I order...
Read moreI walked in to pick up my carry out order the guy at the register didn’t even acknowledge that I was there. When I walked in he was on the phone I waited, he then passed the phone to another associate because the person in the phone was charged twice so I waited, not one of them greeted me or acknowledge that I had been there. The phone started ringing and the 1st guy that was initially up front answered the other line all the while still ignoring the fact that I was there. I stood there for 6 minutes; during this 6 minutes the 1st guy answered and took an order over the phone, walked to the back and looked at a monitor; spoke to the lady that’s in the back making the pizza , the 2nd guy that came up is still on the other line assisting the customer who got charged twice, the lady was making pizza in the back and the 3rd guy that was there walked to the bathroom and back grabbed orders and left for a delivery and not one team member in the place acknowledged I was there. I then said hello I’m here to pick up my order and they all looked up startled like they didn’t expect anyone to be there as if I had not been there this whole time and was asked what’s the name on it like I was annoying them I told them it’s that one and pointed to my order that was waiting on the top shelf the same guy then grabbed it and placed it on the counter and then turned around to walk away not even an apology for making me wait I took my order and walked out. They have terrible customer service. Even if I had to wait I wouldn’t have mind if at least one of the 4 associates that were inside had acknowledge the fact that I was there and let me know that one of them would be right with me instead they moved around the store like I had not walked in or had been standing there. This was very disappointing and their customer service skills could use a major upgrade. I’ve already paid for my food the least the could have done was greeted me and let me know they would be...
Read moreDO NOT PLACE A DELIVERY ORDER from this location unless you are willing to wait TWO HOURS for some COLD PIZZA, get hung up on and lose all brain cells. Now mind you this location is only five minutes away from where I live but I wanted the order delivered. A mistake a regret terribly, as you will see. I placed my order through their mobile app at 7:16pm and I didn’t receive my order until after 9pm. The worker called me from the store when I initially placed the order, telling me that I live “too far” for them to deliver. I laughed as I’m five minutes away. He then realized that he is not smart and corrected himself, letting me know the driver is on his way to me. About 30 mins go by and I get a notification my order is marked as delivered when it was in fact not. I call the store and the same man tells me the driver couldn’t find my address so he marked my order as delivered and came back to the store. In what world is that something you do??? The man then sends the driver back out with a “freshly made” order that I still did not receive until after 9pm. Ultimately being cold and disgusting. The following day, I get a text message from some guy from papa John’s saying he will refund me and never did so therefore I am going through my bank. If I could have predicted any of this, I much would have preferred to just go to bed without dinner to be honest. 0/10 do...
