I placed an order through the Souvlaki Fast App today Sunday 3/10/24. I specified I did not want lettuce nor onions on my gyro as I am allergic to onions and cannot digest lettuce. To my surprise it was covered in onions and lettuce and I could not eat it.
We also ordered three sides (1 chicken, 1 lamb, 1 marinated ribeye souvlaki) but instead we were given 1 order of chicken which was very salty & 2 orders of lamb--this was really a disappointment since the ribeye was for someone who does not eat lamb nor chicken and they did not get to eat it as well.
We were really upset because we placed the order online with 45 minutes in anticipation of our pick up time selected. We were also coming from Broward County and really had great expectations with regards to food quality and service.
We called and spoke to a young lady over the phone (our receipt said "Rhonda"and when I picked up there was only 1 female, so that could have been her name) we expressed our concerns and she said she would write our name down for a free gyro when we return. We accepted it yet this obviously did not solve our problem. We had 2 people who did not eat due to their error and picking up a free gyro wasn't solving that but it was something so we accepted. We then get a phone call 5 minutes later from the same young lady informing us that her manager said if we did not pick up the so called "free gyro" NOW then we could not get it any other day. We explained that we live far in another county and cannot pick up now so in conclusion nothing was fixed.
What would have solved the problem would have been to remake the lamb gyro to the specifications that we typed in the notes section of your app. I have proof of my order and my notes. What would have also helped correct YOUR error would have been to give us the ribeye we did not receive.
The level of customer service from the standpoint of a manager is terrible. Why not let us pick up on a set date or time?....knowing we are 30 miles away and the food that was eaten was not even great 😕 (we would know, we are Greek!!!)
I can guarantee we will never do business with this establishment ever again and would highly NOT recommend it.....especially if your order has a mistake. Correct the problem for the customer....listen to what is being said and follow through.
I don't want anything from you guys and would have appreciated great customer service from a business that didn't even have much traffic/movement or visibility. You'd think you'd want to keep your customers but I guess not.
Good luck...
Read moreSo we have been coming here for years, and have seen how the restaurant has really declined in customer service and quality of food in the past 2 years. I started going to the one in Boca, which is night and day in service and quality of food. Today after a long drive from Orlando , my mother requested a gyro, so we went to our go-to and usually pretty quick place and called an hour before we would arrive. I stated I wanted the order for 6:45PM, so we could pick up and go home and eat. We arrived at 6:40, and I stated I was here for the order. The woman stated that it was not ready yet, so I said fine. I then noticed she had just told the cook that I was here and to prepare my order. Fifteen minutes pass by, and I see a woman outside come in and say we have been here for 35 minutes, what is the status of our food? The woman says, oh just 15 minutes. I the raised an eyebrow, and realized what was going on. Ten minutes later she serves the woman her food, as a Uber eats driver comes in asking for his order. She tells him sorry we are behind it will be 30 minutes, he seems frustrated and walks out. In a few minutes, another Uber eats driver comes in and asks again, she says the same thing to the other driver. In the meantime I see irritated customers complaining and the Uber drivers coming in and out, and the woman apologizing its not ready and they are short staffed and its not her fault. Thirty minutes then pass, and I then ask where is my food, as it was to be ready at the set time I called, and that is why I called an hour before I needed the food so I wouldn't have to wait. I then waited 15 more minutes, and called my spouse who was texting me saying what the heck is going on to explain that they didn't have anything even close to ready. So finally 45 minutes after the time promised (7:36PM) we finally get the food, no apology or anything. We finally get home to eat, the gyro meat was in tiny pieces and not even cooked the whole way through! It was absolutely disgusting, and hopefully from the few bites don't get sick. We ended up making a frozen pizza frustrated and out of $42.00. We will not be going back there, as Chris Taverna is just as close, better quality food, and better customer service. The store in Boca is much better, it's just a shame that the staff at this store ruined it for me and my 100%...
Read moreUPDATE: Rhonda called and left a message on my phone regarding my receipt as Patrick gave me the wrong one. It is still no excuse for them to use my points I was building up and my sandwich.
I was pretty upset as on average in the past I was ordering with a friend and family about twice a week. Today I did my usual order, sounds like the lady didn’t know what was going on and all they kept doing was putting me on hold. They have a point system and it’s either the owner or it seemed like she was as she knew what she was doing. The guy who took my order before the lady spoke to me messed my sandwich up AND I called as I wasn’t happy that Patrick R who wouldn’t let me speak to the manager, told me sorry you probably had to use the points. I’m, no, the lady that seems to be the owner who says Gyro correctly all the time and knows me always asked me if I wanted to use it. The credit card bill didn’t even show the last four of my credit card and if I was billed. Extremely confusing! I don’t know if I’ll be returning and I have family coming down finally, not sure after these few months on how I was treated by Patrick and found out they made my sandwich wrong (I didn’t call back), Patrick said they were too busy for me. That’s the case, you lost some customers! He sure acted like he owned the place but was a young adult with...
