As everyone should expect going for ice cream should be a bright and nice way to cool down from warm weather with idea of a sweet treat from more often than not a bubbly & excited staff.. this was not one of those times.
We walked in this past Sunday and went to check out the flavors noticing the only person in the front was on her phone.. not acknowledging any customers were waiting to be served. A employee then walks out from the back and notices we were standing there waiting patiently to be served. He was nice and did the best job he could while the other looks up and was clearly annoyed that we were there. She walks up and says what do you want.. As we were moving through the toppings she was serving my fiancé still with the look of distaste and annoyed facial expressions. She had asked for two toppings and made no effort to mix them into the ice cream. The toppings were clumped up in the center and not the usual standard we have experienced in the past.
As we were checking out she added all the items up and the other employee looks over and suggests that the way the order was tallied up should be cheaper and explains why.. She continues to roll her eyes at him and not even try to acknowledge that it could be wrong and after some back and forth between the two employees changes it to the right amount owed.
Usually situations in this range isn’t the biggest deal to us but with the way this particular employee was acting to us and her coworker isn’t okay. We understand that businesses are short staffed and things are tough but this is way out of the normal standard for Cold Stone and...
Read moreI’ve been going here every week for the past year for my cheat day dessert. Normally, they’re great. But lately, every time I try to order from a delivery service (DoorDash, UberEats, etc), I eventually get a notification that “Coldstone isn’t taking delivery orders”. I’ve even tried ordering earlier in the day to beat the “rush”. Once or twice is one thing, but the frequency with which it happens is just ridiculous. If you are up and running on DoorDash, acknowledge the orders. If you don’t want to, close it up. Anything else is just wasting other peoples’ time.
Make it practice to shut down your delivery service apps the instant you decide to stop taking orders from them. And even then, acknowledge those that have already been placed. It should be common courtesy.
Edit: I don’t even know how long ago I made this review. For some reason Google won’t show how long ago you made a review despite showing it for everyone else’s reviews. Probably been a year or two. Somehow, it’s only gotten worse. I’m still waiting for the place to open up so I can get some ice cream I paid for through the app a full week ago. They’ve been closed this whole time. Even after posting new store hours to account for being short-staffed, they still aren’t open. They created and posted new store hours only to IMMEDIATELY ignore them. I’ve never seen such incompetent...
Read moreI have had the worst experience today getting ice cream in this store. The girl that was making my ice cream was rude because she wasn't listening when I wanted an extra topping, she hands it to the cashier and the cashier reminds her that I wanted an extra topping. So she throws this attitude like a 12 year old spoiled brat and impolitely asks "What other topping" and throws on 3 pieces of my topping....3 pieces for 69 cents? I'd be getting a better deal at a dollar store. I mean, she doesn't even mix the damn toppings in either, oh no, she places them 1 by 1 on top of the damn thing trying to taunt me? Do you guys honestly think your boss pays you 100%?? No! you're damn customers do, they pay your check! Your boss just files it, gets in printed out and hands it to you like a mailman handing over a damn Hustler magazine! Also, why don't your employees where name tags in the first place?? I had to go back in and get her name by asking a guy. The rude girl's name is Rachel by the way guys! Do not have her make your ice cream! In fact, just buy the ice cream from Walmart! I'm not going to come back anymore, if Rachel is...
