Went into Karma corner the other day to inquire about some of the heady rigs and some slides that they carry, one of the guys that was there was super knowledgeable (believe his name was miles) and help point me in the right direction and we ended up talking for a bit about glass. The other guy that was there on the other hand (didn’t get his name) just seemed to follow me around the store and kept asking if I needed anything after I told him that I was good and miles had already pointed me in the right direction and that I would come find him if I needed anything. Despite this, seemed as if every time I turned around he was just there waiting and watching just kind of following me as if I was plotting to steal rather than spend over 500$ on some glass. Also he seemed to keep trying pretty hard to sell me on things I wasn’t even looking at or interested in. Overall strange guy and judging by the other reviews seems like people have had the same issues which prompted my review…. Really really hate leaving a bad review at a local glass shop also considering how helpful and knowledgeable the other employee was, love the shop great selection, but the employee mentioned definitely made the experience a bit strange. it definitely seemed as if he was trying to help which I appreciate but was just a bit excessive. But I bought a White Rhino quarts nectar collector and not even a week later after using it only a few times, the tip completely melted together. I was using a fairly small torch too, with a brand of glass I have used often the exact same way with nothing of that sort happening. Obviously that isn’t anyone working at Karmas fault, they didn’t make the nectar. But I was really disappointed with how they handled it, as it is still their responsibility to make it right. I brought the nectar in, had even cleaned it, showed the tip that had melted shut and along with that the same girl who sold it to me was working. I had bought it, like I said, less than a week earlier. I wasn’t expecting a brand new one for free necessarily, but I wasn't even offered a discount for a possible new nectar. Definitely just could’ve been handled better by the company, there should be some sort of policy there.
