This was one of my go to places up until a few months ago, when they started being out of a few or several ingredients, and/or they have quality issues like oversalted items or highly variable portion sizes of certain ingredients (tons of rice or romain lettuce, little of everything else, or the whole bowl is 1/2 full). Tonight, I was in before 8 pm (they close at 9), and they were out of the tomato vinaigrette, the main topping! I asked the girl working if they have any onions, tomatoes or peppers? No, blank stare. Ok, so I go home and make a reasonable approximation of the tomato vinaigrette and finally sit down to eat, and the rice is so undercooked, it's barely edible! I actually did notice the rice was undercooked by the look of it when the girl plated it, but I thought 'It probably looks wierd for another reason; this girl sees rice pretty often, so she probably knows why it looks like that.' Nope, she didn't. In the past, even with the mistakes, the food was always decent to good, and really amazing sometimes. But I'm a terrible cook and can almost always make rice that is at least halfway cooked! Was rushed through the line yesterday so the shop could close early only to receive two bowls subpar bowls (one extremely bitter idk why and the other waaaaaaay over salted). Guessing the shortage had the cooks rushing to make the food so no measurements of ingredients. Oh and I’m stomach sick today and the only things I ate yesterday was the overly salted bowl and some fruit.
I give 3 stars bc I have had good experiences here in the past and am willing to try again after they hopefully solve their staff issues. But yesterday’s experience was for sure 0 stars.

Read moreI put it an order through doordash to pick up a couple hours ahead of time. I pick up my partner and go to the restaurant, on time for the order, during my hour break. I asked for the order and they said they were still making it. Ok cool! We sit down and wait. There is a long rush that comes in after us. We wait. 20 minutes and I go back up to the counter and ask for the status of the order. Still making it. There is a big rush. We sit and watch them make every…single…order….that walks in….instead of ours which was scheduled for almost an hour ago now. ONLY when the rush is over and every single person in front of us has been taken care of, do we literally watch the employee grab our ticket, and THEN start making it. We were really upset and I was late coming back to work for an order that I put in 2 hours ahead of time.
