Having now gone here twice: this place rules! Their food is so fine and FEELS expensive, but is priced pretty fairly! Their coffee drinks and presentation, along with the comfiest atmosphere I've ever experienced at a sit-down eatery, make this place a must-visit for both lifetime crepe lovers and newcomers to the scene. I recommend their savory options--the sauce was like divine ichor from some heavenly cask of wondrous glory. Absolutely my go-to for breakfast in the Landing! :D
Old review below:
Point of order: I haven't even gone here yet. But they're already putting in work to be one of the best business launches I've ever seen!
The food LOOKS amazing! And they're being VERY honest about things being in a trial period; there's a HUGE sign out front that says this is a SOFT OPENING EVENT -- "WE'RE STILL LEARNING!" That's something I don't think I've EVER seen a business do. And while it might build apprehension for your initial visit, it sets an expectation for it, and makes the tacit request for FEEDBACK. So many places say "YOUR FEEDBACK IS IMPORTANT TO US" but being so transparent about some things being rough at the start is a HUGE way to say "...and we WILL use that feedback to improve!" Nothing builds customer trust like honesty. Seriously.
Looking in there yesterday for the first time, it's so COMFY. There's a little toy area for tiny babs, it's on a corner and they leaned SUPER hard into making every single wall a window, it's bright, airy, colorful...all things you want for your crepes, too! It's a master stroke of design to fit so much of the vibes of what you sell into the storefront itself...even if it's not intentional, it's doing a LOT of work to selling the place!
I live right next door so I'll DEFINITELY be tucking into a delicious crepe within the next couple weeks...
Read moreHave been here twice this week. First time we stopped by two days ago with my husband for breakfast and it was so good I’ve been wanting to go again today. Today I also brought a friend. The crepes and signature drinks are delicious and freshly made. I had the strawberry crepe and walnut raf and they were so good. The walnut raf is a must order. Never had a drink quite like it. Best coffee I’ve had in Weymouth. Today when we went they were behind on orders due to some machine issues it seemed but I was so impressed with how they handled the situation. The owner and staff personally apologized to the people waiting and the customers and also tried to comp people a drink for waiting so long. Unforeseen issues happen and they also had games you could play while waiting so honestly I didn’t mind. They were very sincere to all customers and I tried to buy an extra drink but the owner said no it’s on the house since we’ve been waiting for over 40minutes. The place also had books for kids to read. Hope this place can expand one day and have more seating since when we came on Saturday morning at 10am it was quite busy. When we came on a weekday around 8:45 it was pretty empty but people started strolling in around 9:30am. Come here for the food and the awesome...
Read moreSuper wholesome place! I stopped by with some friends I was visiting and it had a really cute local vibe. The owner was there and interacted with us often which was a nice touch because it showed how much she cared and put her heart into the place. There was a snafoo that particular time causing some delays, but she was super sweet as were all the staff, and offered us complimentary beverages of our choosing! We had a great time and weren’t particularly in a rush (I’ve had a longer wait time at a different crepe place and no one checked on me then… or offered anything) so I was actually quite impressed with how graceful they were with it. We didn’t mind waiting since the vibe was very comfortable and nice and there were a few complimentary games to pass the time. The crepe was delicious and there was an extensive menu. The drink was amazing! I really liked the Walnut Raf (specialty latte) and the Bramble was super interesting. I’m always down to support a local...
