I felt the need to express the biggest disappointment when I went in to buy a carrot cake. I went to buy a carrot cake for our anniversary vacation. I bought my wedding cake from you 10yrs ago and have been there too many times to count since to get carrot cake and pastries! Today the women was short w me! I asked for no nuts (cuz I’ve been there before when that’s an option and that’s how we had our wedding cake.) she curtly said no and it has nuts inside! Despite to replicate what we had 10yrs ago I said ok even though I’ve been there too many times to count to know that no nuts is a possibility. Unless you’ve changed your recipe I know for a fact that I can have no nuts! I was going to scrap the nuts off and the strawberries already look bad! I don’t think this is going to last till Friday when I need it. I called earlier in the week and the women said it’ll be fine. It won’t taste as good but it’ll still be good! I’m so disappointed that our 10yr wedding anniversary won’t be like our original! I guess this will be my last trip up if this is how business is going to be!

A coworker recommended this place when we were looking for a place to get our wedding cake. All couples before they get married love going tasting called to choose where they will go finally. We went to a lot of places to compare. Most places give very small samples and give your a very short period to sign paperwork because they say they get booked and also have standard sizes that stent convenient like 75 or 100 or 150.. So if you have 80 people you have to get a cake for 100 and pay for 100 people. This place has the best prices, adjust your cake to the size you want and charge you accordingly. Also when you taste test, They bring you full size samples not tiny slivers and send you home with a few samples as well. Also, they don't pressure you to sign anything or put a down payment and say you can tell them a couple of weeks before and they will have your cake ready. Other places say they fill up for orders for certain days so you have to book in time. Finally the cakes and pastries they make are the best. Do yourself a favor and try them at least.

Well, here is my themed wedding cake, in my kitchen 2 days after my wedding. They straight didn't deliver my cake to the venue at all. Absolutely no communication and I had to call THEM the day after to ask what had happened. Where I was informed they simply put the cake in the wrong location. HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN?! Why would no one call the phone number listed on the tag attached to the box? Why did I have to call the morning after my wedding to find out what happened? While the cake came out looking fine with our theme, it was for nothing. The lack of a simple phone call is completely unprofessional. At the time of closing and when the error was found, there was still plenty of time to make it to the venue. This used to be the first place I would go for a cake for any occasion, and sadly, I'll never use them again. The Whole Foods cake that we subbed in tasted better. We were asked to pick up the cake and are still waiting on a full refund, but what are we supposed to do with a wedding cake now? I was in tears at my own wedding. Unacceptable.

Awesome experience. Went there for a cake tasting for our wedding. The girl was extremely helpful and creative. Every cake was phenomenal and I'm not a big cake person. We went their just looking to check it out and we left there with them scheduled for our wedding. Reminded me of the show Cake Boss. When we arrived the bakery was full with people. I've never seen this many people at a bakery. A few cakes are on display at the front and a typical bakery display at the back. Albeit, much larger than any I've seen, going from wall to wall. Tons of employees to help customers get baked goods or pick up something they ordered. You also have a partial view of the kitchen where it looked like close to 2 dozen workers working on different projects. When we arrived we went to the desk to inform them we had arrived. We waited a few minutes, then were taken to the back. There's a room with multiple tables and chairs where they meet with people for cake designs for smaller scale events. I.e. birthday parties, graduations, etc. Then there is 2 small rooms for wedding cake consultation appointments. You have a private meeting with a consultant who first brings you every available cake flavor. We had close to a dozen. Then they leave you with a tablet to look over their HUGE portfolio of wedding cakes (Standard or Premium) and to taste the flavors. By the way, the "standard" cakes are some of the nicest you'll ever see, "Premiums" are outstanding. Again, every cake tasted amazing. Then she returned and talked with my fiancé about designs. Comparing both pictures of their cakes and ones my fiancé had found on the internet. After some deliberation she went to a station where there are 3 computers, to create some designs. She came back with printed designs that had my fiancé's exact pictured cakes and also their own ideas. Needless to say they are extremely prepared, seasoned, and extremely friendly. All of it was a bit overwhelming. In a good way. Anyways, after seeing how perfect and grand these cakes were, we were expecting it to be a bit pricy. It was not. Intriguingly, to our suprise, They are actually on the cheaper end. And have a quality that we hadn't seen the likes of before. I went their expecting to see beautiful cakes at unreasonable prices. But arrived to affordable cakes that were much better than my fiancé had dreamed of. We reserved them for our wedding day. Which, apparently, they do 12 weddings in a day so you shouldn't have any problems with scheduling. They put us in and required no deposit. We put down money anyway, but were surprised with how reasonable and customer friendly this place is. The consultant went on to tell us that the owner is always telling them to do everything they can for the customers to make it as affordable, manageable, and stress free as possible. That's exactly how our experience was. A side note, as I said above, they are extremely flexible. Their is no limit as to how many times you can change the design. You can have as many appointments as you'd like to tweak things. Pickup or delivery. And are allowed to personally supply them with things you'd like on your cake. All of this can be done up to a month prior of scheduled delivery date. Also, to top it all off we left with a full box of complimentary pastries. It was a truly great experience and I will highly recommend them to people looking for a unique and special cake for...

My wife, a friend and I stopped by to look at cakes for an upcoming baptism. The hostess was very nice and sat us down. She also offered us coffee/tea and water before the tasting tray came out. This part of the service was overall "ok", the only downside I see is that the room they do the tastings are fairly small and cramped. It's nice, but small.

We were given an iPad to look through various designs of cakes and what not. This part of the tasting was somewhat mixed as we ended up asking for a quote for a cake we found on Pinterest. The provided designs were nice, but didn't fit what we wanted.

The cake itself is delicious. They offer several different styles and such. Basically if you have a specific flavor you like, they will have it. I would say it was somewhere between 20-40 different flavors. All with buttercream frosting.

After a few quotes we we're offered to put a deposit on a cake. But my wife and I wanted to shop around, so their was no pressure to do so. Then we were given a going away box of pastries and such.

Now you might be asking yourself why I am giving a low rating if I enjoyed the experience overall. Well when we were given the iPad, being the IT Professional I am, I wanted to see what was on the iPad other than pictures of cakes. Well it seems that they configured the iPads, at least the one I had in my hands, with the email account that they have customers contact the store regarding orders, quotes, cakes or whatever. I would find this a huge breach of security and privacy, because to get a cake tasting you basically just show up. But for a customer to have essentially unfettered access to the companies contact email address with what I imagine includes personal identified information along with emails of customers and the like is just unacceptable to me. I get it, the place is local and IT concerns are probably not high on the list. But this is just simple stuff or lazy habits that...

I emailed the email address on their website with details of an order I wanted to place and several days later after not hearing back and not being able to get through on the phone I decided to go in person. When I arrived in person, I was told that orders are only being taken online or over the phone. After explaining I had already tried to contact the email on the website with no avail and that I would like to place my order now I was told to go sit in my car and call with my order. Furious, I did, (only because the cake is not for me and the person I am ordering it for really wants the cake from here) the person was able to pull up my email, place me on hold after seeing the image of the very simply cake design I wanted, only to be told that I had to pick from the options online because at the moment they are not making custom cakes. I was FURIOUS!!! Not only was it horrible customer service all around from no one responding to my email to being told I should go sit in my car to place the order to then be told by such well known bakery that they are not making custom cakes at the moment. At no point did anyone apologize for the lack of communication or lack of ability to meet my needs as a customer. I drove down the road to Montilios where I was received and treated like the paying customer I am and was able to place my order and walk out with some treats. My wedding cake was from Konditer Meister as well as many other cakes for many other occasions. Sad that their customer service has dwindled. I will NOT be going...
