Wood Road Deli — Restaurant in Braintree

Snuck out for a quick bite for lunch with my sweetheart today at Wood Road Deli in Braintree. The chicken roll up & Greek chicken roll up (added bacon) both had SUPER FRESH veggies, juicy chicken breast on fresh pit bread all topped with a house secret dressing!!! Brought a few sandwiches home for the kids too. The Texas Twister (Warm roast beef w/melted American cheese, topped w/lettuce, red onion & horseradish sauce) was absolutely phenomenal!! Their Gobbler (Oven roasted turkey w/cranberry sauce, homemade stuffing, lettuce & mayo) had INCREDIBLE homemade stuffing….try it with fresh baked chicken breast instead of the turkey as an option as well.

After reading all these 5 star reviews, I decided to give this place a shot. I ordered myself their highly rated roast beef sandwich. It was a HUGE disappointment for me because 1) people say the prices are good, guess what, they also give you minimal food in your sandwich. 2) it was NOTHING special, typical bread and microwaved warm roast beef in between.

I went to Wood Road Deli for lunch on this perfect 10 weather day. I got a Roast Beef, with American Cheese, LTO and Salt/pepper. I also bought a mixture of oatmeal and chocolate chip cookies for the office. The service in the Deli was great and the sandwich was fresh and really hit the spot.
