Primark — Local services in Braintree

Biggest complaint was the lack of customer service. On January 17, 2019 - ready to pay for my purchase. It was approximately 12:30, store was a bit busy, I was about the 9 person in the queue waiting to pay. This store has 30+ cash register stations. There were only THREE registers open. One register was serving a customer that was having some sort of a problem with a return. The manager was assisting the cashier. Things were moving very slow at registers 2 and 3. As I waited in line, I looked behind me to see that the line had grown considerably. Typical of lunch time with customers on break from their work. There must have been another 15 people behind me waiting. I waited in line for over a half hour. I noticed that the manager (Jenny) that was still assisting cashier #3 kept looking up and scanning the check out line, but not calling for more employees to help expedite the check out. When it was finally my turn, I asked the cashier why more help hasn't been called to the check out. The employee stated "everyone else is on break" and "we're short handed because many are using up their vacation time before they lose it, it's gonna be like this for a few weeks" I asked for the name of the manager, and was asked "Which one?, Jenny is there (pointing to register #3) and Alishia (or something like this) was on break:. Really? You've got people out the door but yet a manager takes their break? What type of management allows such a high percentage of staff take breaks and time off at once? This is very poor management. Also, for the manager that was behind the desk, she should have made a quick decision to pull staff from the sales floor or from break. This place lost me...

I’m gonna give it an extra star because the manager was nice and did what she had to do. But the people working today 113021 at 8pm are the worst. They cussed the whole time, talked about fighting, ignored customers. Only one girl was ringing and she kept asking them to take customers and they ignored her while she’s going as fast as she can and they continues talking and sitting on the counter where they should be ringing . I know retail gets tough I get it, but tonight I’ve never experienced such a horrible trip to primark. The guy who rang me up over packed my bags, they split and everything hit the floor (all 3 bags) he walked away to talk to the girls who were being loud and obnoxious. One girl kept asking me to move while I’m in front of the register, I literally wasn’t in her way she was just doing a lot. Over all it’s never been so unprofessional. I don’t expect 5star from primark but no one expects to go into something so chaotic and loud and obnoxious. I truly love primark and will continue shopping at primark but that what I just experienced was terrible and I don’t even leave reviews you can see my review history I don’t leave reviews. Tonight was bad, I won’t come back to Braintree but I’ll always shop at primark. Braintree really needs to get it together it’s such a big nice store. Their customer service inside the dressing room area was absurd. So me and my good friend had an outfit that we wished to pair with shoes. So at the front desk of the dressing room an employee told us that she was able to hold our shoes in a provided bag. Once we agreed she placed the shoes in a small room that (keep in mind) was open AND available for any costumer to grab a new bag. So we just walked into the fitting rooms to try on our clothes that we wished to purchase. Afterward we walked back to the small room that our shoes were in and tried to grab them to simply try the shoes on with the outfit. We then were crowded by around 7 fitting room employees that were even blocking the exit and they started making comments like “what are you doing!” And “you can’t bring the shoes inside!”. It was outrages and we were greatly offended about how they treated us. It seemed that they felt we would steal the shoes EVEN THOUGH we are adolescents (with our own job too).
