China's Best Buffet — Restaurant in Brazil

I've been in Brazil for about 4 and 1/2 5 years now and I frequent I used to frequent this restaurant all the time what I found out made me sick to my stomach and I will never ever eat there again ever. Me and my grandchildren would eat there and we always go wash our hands first. Our second to last visit as we were washing hands the little lady that works there was"cleaning" a toilet. She put the toilet brush in the toilet scrub the inside of the toilet she scrubbed the inside of the toilet then proceeded to take that scrub brush scrub the lid the seat and the entire toilet and then just wiped it off with a towel 🤬🤮. I told my kids we are never sitting on those toilets again. The last time we went in the same woman was in the bathroom when we went in and as my grandson was trying to wash his hands she came out of the bathroom put her hands under the water that he was using splashed a little bit of water on her hands and walked out of the bathroom and then proceeded to touch all the spoons and wipe down the buffet and that was it that was the last straw absolutely disgusting. That was the last straw we will never go back there again absolutely nasty. In addition the food was never hot and where they keep the cucumbers and stuff they don't even know how to put all that the bins and the containers all together and it just kind of floats around there and it's never completely cold. I would say do not go there!...

Food was good but wasn't hot until a few more people came in and more dishes were freshened up. I had a pleasant experience but what really tanks my opinion is the fact you can't take your leftovers home. It causes so much waste and plus after being full from 1 plate of about $15 for entry, I could've saved myself a few dollars by just getting take out instead and being able to take it home. I understand the food safety concerns but also at the same time, I paid for it and since there was no excess consumption i don't understand why taking a plate full of food home is a problem. Some people would like to enjoy a nice meal and continue to do so at home if there is food left that could still be eaten instead of thrown away. Coming from a previous situation of being homeless and counting dollars, that...

We like going to this restaurant as they offer a lot of good food on their buffet and at a reasonable price (around $7.50 for lunch). And your drink is included too which is a plus. Oh, and a couple of dessert items are also included .. soft serve ice cream and cake. There is plenty of seating too so you don't have to worry about getting a table either. My only minor complaint is that sometimes the food sitting on the warming tables doesn't start as hot as I like it but if you want to make sure you get good hot food just keep an eye out for when they bring out fresh food from the kitchen and dump it in the warming table trays. All in all I recommend this restaurant...
