Nine Social — Restaurant in Brea

My boyfriend and I were looking for a place to have dinner for date night. We haven’t walked downtown brea in a while so this is the first time we saw this place and it looked kinda coo, they had live music. We waited at the door for few minutes but no one welcomed us so we figured it was a “seat yourself” thing, a sign would be helpful. We walked in and there was no one behind the bar and no waiter walking around. Since we weren’t approached to be serviced we ended up leaving. Sad I wish we could’ve tried it out. Nine Social is a new wine bar in downtown Brea. It is not just another wine bar. The decor and setting have many unique elements. According to Tom, the owner, they had 9 people contributed to the creation of this business. Tom is a serial entrepreneur with talent in business, art and technology. He is the guy playing the keyboard in my photos. When he was not playing the keyboard, he carried his dog and chatted with customers. The bar is his pet project. My we came here twice in a row, had the best interaction with the bartender! She is a gem!!! This place is so adorable and comfortable to go for drinks and some brunch! Check their menu, we wish we would be staying the weekend to come back for brunch on Sunday . Definitely recommend this for a date and drink! We will be back next time...
