This is a review regarding their take out catering. We had a family get together and ordered a small take out catering order here for the first time which consisted of Italian beef, fried chicken, Mostaccioli, and salad. The order was enough to feed 10 adults, and I believe it cost $120. This also included cutlery, serving utensils, 2 packages of Turano buns for the beef, and paper plates. The food was served in heavy duty aluminum foil containers. I tried a chicken leg, a beef sandwich, salad and some pasta. Everything was packaged nice and everything was fresh tasting. The food was still hot when we unwrapped it. The chicken skin wasn't overly crispy but it tasted good. The beef sandwich was probably my fave of all the food we had and was even still really good reheated the next day. There was plenty of food and everyone said they liked the meal. I would recommend getting catering from this place for a low key get together if you don't feel like cooking.

Since I can’t give this review a zero, I give it a 1. Such a disappointment. Tonight I ordered a pizza. Upon its arrival, I noticed something off about the lizza. The cheese was extremely heavy. After taking a bite, the bottom crust fell off. I thought that was odd so I life the pizza and saw two layers of crust that was split in half. I then discovered a doughy texture. It was undercooked. We called back to inform them of the situation. They said they would make another one and offered delivery. Over an hour passed and no Pizza. We called again and this time recorded an attitude and told they were very busy that maybe we should have picked the pizza up. The pizza finally arrived in a rating of a 4 of 10… I decided to call the Orland Park location where I received exceptional service. Needless to say I will NOT be returning to the Orland Hills location. I’d rather drive 20 minutes for quality pizza then the 2 minute drive to Orland hills. 🤢

We have had their pizza from one of their other locations, and jt was always great, but this was the first time we decided to try this location and to sit down and enjoy our meal. The atmosphere was nice, the staff was friendly, our waitress was having an off night and didn't come around too much, but she was still nice and friendly. The cream of chicken soup was so-so. The taste was a little off. The pretzels and cheese were delicious. The pizza was good, lots of toppings. The drinks started out good, but quickly tasted watered down. This wasn't the best first impression, but since we have had their food before, we will give them another try later on. One major downside, They also charge a 3% fee to use your credit/debit card.

This pizza place has gone down hill so BAD, I don't normally write a bad review like this, I just normally stop going to the place,,but you need to hear this, STOP WASTING YOUR MONEY HERE. ,, The appetizers of grilled calamari were under cooked and salty, We ordered a mushroom and spinach medium pizza , way over the top of to many mushrooms on top of the pizza it was completely covered with them making the pizza soggy and hardly any spinach on it, some spinach on the outside crust but nothing was in the middle as we looked for it, We told the waitress about it when asked how was the pizza and she start to argue with me about saying Im seeing spinach on the outside and I said they missed the middle and I started to show her their was nothing in the middle and she just got a very fast DEFENSIVE ATTITUDE l told her I'm not here to argue with her about it, I was just explaining what we didn't like about the order , than we see her take the pizza from the table over to the other waitress and we see her complaining to them she has a unreasonable customer, Instead of just saying let me send over the manager to your table, to hear why we were unhappy with the order, she blew us off by saying the manager agreed with her with her opinion, when she took the pizza in the back, and brought it back boxed up with the pizza on top of each other and left the bill and walked away, Or she could of just said I'm sorry it not to your liking , let me talk to the manager and let me see about sending over a desert to make it up, It would of kept her tip of 25% instead of nothing, So we walk over to the bar area with our bill to pay our bill and they ask why, I told them l didn't want my waitress to take care of it and I said I'm not happy with our older waitress service to put up with her anymore because of her argumentative attitude,, and THAN they still gave the older waitress our CHECK from dinner when we went in the bar room to stay away from her in the dining area to pay our bill with us now talking to manager of why I was paying there from dinner. That's when we had explained again to the manager we didn't want to deal with her attitude anymore after eating in dining area, we like her the manager to pay out the bill here.,, just to have them go get the older waitress to come there and handed off the bill to the older waitress to close out the bill and have the older waitress to give it back to me,... FOR HER TO COME AND CONFRONT ME MORE WITH MORE BAD ATTITUDE IN THE BAR AREA, They than asked as we were leaving do we want the left overs, LOL ,, I,M REALLY SERIOUS DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE,,,, GO to CAPRI'S Restaurant down the street, EXCELLENT SERVICE and FOOD...

Visited Chicago again on a family & friends visit, and decided to try one of the newest Barraco's locations. Mistake. I grew up on Barraco's in the 90's, and Giordano's before that. Barraco's is my favorite deep dish, and what I blindly recommend over any other to anyone I know visiting Chicago. Until now. I'll still recommend Barraco's, as I ate at the Evergreen location about 6 months ago and it was every bit as good - if not better - than I remembered from my younger days 20-30 years ago. This place... they did something to the pizza that added too much bite. Maybe the sauce was too spicy. I don't know. What I do know is I can normally tear through at least three slices of a large pepperoni deep dish, and this time I could barely get through two. It just wasn't that good. Anyone that knows me knows that's really hard for me to say. In all my years of eating Barraco's deep dish - (even half-baked frozen pies I'd drive 9 hours to acquire) - this was the first time I was actually disappointed. The server didn't know when to stop coming by to ask "is there anything else I can do for you?" while me and my two friends of 40 years tried to catch up (beer glasses were half-full, and there was still plenty of pizza on the table). When someone finally asks that five more times than would be appropriate, I lightheartedly ask if they know any magic tricks. Usually, they can take a hint. Not this guy. It wasn't even 9pm, an hour before closing time. Plus, there were still plenty of geriatric customers in the bar area, and I didn't see anyone trying to herd them out the door. We weren't loud or obnoxious, either. That was the other odd thing about this place - my table of 50+ year-olds felt like the youngsters. When I left, I looked around for the attached assisted living home I must have missed going in. Nothing wrong with a bunch of old folks getting Barraco's, but I felt sorry for them if their food was anywhere near the level of quality of ours. And, it just seemed a little odd that nobody younger was trying to enjoy Barraco's, here. Maybe they had, previously, and were now at the Evergreen location - which is where I...

It’s nice to see the new owner decided to pretty much keep everything the same from the old Traversos and basically breathed new life into the restaurant. It’s very clean and classy inside. This was only the first week they’ve been open here at this location so they were still getting the act together but we got to meet the owner who’s a heck of a nice guy and excited to be a new business owner you can tell and seems like he’s a good boss to his staff so this restaurant has so much potential and probably will be one of the best in town in no time. They are making so many improvements to the restaurant like a huge outdoor bar that this place is going to take off. Wish you all the best and welcome to Orland Park. It’s nice to see basically Traversos competition comes in and still honor their old competition and not just write them off. That shows a lot of class. Sure hope you add some of Traversos options to your menu if they let you as a way to pay homage so to say to a legend in the area. Not saying to drop your recipes as they are great as well, but offer the best of both worlds. Offer both. Anyhow, prices were amazing for how much food we got. For $25 we got a huge two topping pizza we couldn’t even finish. The salad was amazing and I love the Italian dressing. Servers were attentive and the dining area was kept clean. A bit noisy though since the carpet is gone now. And please get the lighting fixed as I thought I was getting a tan while eating lol. Overall though give this place a chance they’re just getting going and working the kinks out. Oh and there’s an awesome Italian grocery store in the back of the restaurant now like Rubinos has!...
