Two employees yelled at me and the owner didn’t care. He was more concerned about me being undercharged than being yelled at.
I bought a reusable cup, because I come here so often. Every since I brought it I’ve had issues with the employees here and the pricing. I’ve been charged $1.09 to $1.65 to $1.75 to $2.50. So what is the price for my ice coffee?!? When I look at the $1.09 receipt is says “Refill 24oz ICEcoffee” and when I look at the $1.75 it says “Refill 24oz HTcoffee.” So I’m being charged for a hot coffee when I’m getting ice? Today, the cashier said my total was $1.75 and I asked her about the $1.09 price. She tells me I’m wrong and that it’s always been $1.75. I show her both receipts and she says no, and just keeps point to the $1.75 on the “HTcoffee” receipt. I told her I’m not getting a hot coffee. I’m getting ice so should it be the $1.09 like it says on the other receipt. This lady went from 0 to 100 really quick and starts yelling at me. I told her that it even says 99cent on multiple websites for a reusable cup. So she grabs another lady and that lady doesn’t even hear my side and just starts yelling at me saying “No! No! It’s always been $1.75.” At this point I’m done with them and I start having an attitude. So the owner comes over and looks at both of the receipts. The first girl is still yelling at me as the owner looks at the receipt. He doesn’t care that I’m getting yelled at, and just says, “why was she charged $1.09 for that.?!” They start speaking in another language, and he says “I’m trying to find the button because I want to know why she was charged that price.” Again.... ignoring the fact that I’m getting yelled at by his employees. So I’m beyond done and I tell them I just want my coffee. So I pay the stupid $1.75, and I leave. I walk to my car and I see the owners Tesla parked in the handicap spot. (I know it’s his car because I’ve seen him get out of it before). I called corporate and they said that DD are all privately owned so prices are different depending on the location. Sooo... The owner is overcharging on items so he can pay his Tesla??? This all could have been avoided if the first cashier didn’t start yelling at me and just told me about the different pricing for each location. They said they will let the owner know and he’ll get in contact with me (which is doubt). I called another location closer to my job and they said they charge 99cent for ice coffee. I’ll be going there, I won’t be back, because I don’t want to support a business where the owner only cares about money. Charge people fairly and you’ll have more...
Read moreI spend a lot of money every day at dunkins all all around my area. The only reason the EVER get my business is if theyre the only dunkin open, and after today I won't give them another cent.
Im a big iced coffee drinker, and i take a specific amount of sweetner, specifically flavor swirl My coffee has to be made with a certain amount of ice otherwise it's going to be too sweet, or not sweet enough.
I know that this sounds Karen-y, but it's very simple: I ask for a little less than halfway filled with ice. Every other dunkin I go to has no problem with this, but the little man at the register flat out refused to do it. "We only go as low as halfway and then it's a dollar extra".
Can i afford an extra dollar? Of course I can, but I'm sick and tired of being gouged everywhere I go. A 32 ounce iced coffee, if it was filled and had no ice, costs Dunkin .50 cents, give or take a few cents (I used to work at NDCP, a dunkin distribution warehouse, so I know exactly how much everything costs). That costs me 4.50-5.00. Factor in labor and overhead and theyre probably making AT LEAST a 50% profit on that drink. Fill that drink with ice and we're taking 75% or more. Wal Mart doesn't make that much profit.
I'm tired of being taken advantage of. All I'm asking is 10 less cubes of ice; i shouldn't have to pay a dollar for that privilege. I hope the owner sees this and rethinks his policies. I spend a lot on dunkin, and at the time I'm up every day theyre one of the only dunkins open. I'd go there every morning, but between the gouging and the rude employees I will take my...
Read moreSo I usually order from Dunkin, a caramel crazy iced latte so I know how it tastes like. This morning I did order a mobile order and I went to the drive-through. When I got my drink, it wasn’t the same thing the same that I usually drink it was very bad. I parked, and I went inside to tell them that this drink wasn’t the same that I usually drink, and in fact it wasn’t sweet at all when I clearly ordered 8 sweet and low to be in it. They did try to fix it but one of the workers there she was like this is how we make it and I was like I usually drink it every day literally every day and this doesn’t taste the same and then she started to keep saying that this is how we make it. This is how we make it and then it was in a really bad attitude and for me I’m not going back there no more this was the worst experience that I’ve got I used go there to this location for many many many times they never made this drink this bad and then they were complaining that as if it was my fault. How like how? I drink it every day I purchased it every day and I know how it tastes like and then she’s trying to convince me that this was the same as I get every day. It was really bad. At the end, I told her just to throw it because I don’t need it. I’m not gonna drink it either way because it was so bad then I called Customer Service and I got my money back and I went to a different location and got my drink and now I’m drinking it and it’s really fine. It’s really good. It’s not the same as I got it this morning from this location. I will never be back to this location. They...
