After a disappointing trip to Bachelor's Grove cemetery, we decided to make the most of my trip and check out the local breweries After seeing the "garlic cheese curds" on the menu, we knew where to go We were seated immediately and given food and drink menus The menu is a bit on the small size, which is a good sign, as it means more specialized foods We ordered our garlic curds and our beer Both came promptly. My beer (Shebeen) was good, but not fantastic. The curds, however, were fantastic and almost worth the visit by itself After we devoured the curds, we both ordered smash burgers. Nothing super special, but very tasty. The fries were the real standout, being crispy, but not overly so, and perfectly salted. I enjoyed the food, beer, and the service very much, and it's a shame this place is so far from where I live, as I'd love to go back to try more of the offerings Someday!

Let’s just say I’ve been to better breweries in strip malls. Both in terms of beer and food. Overall, beer is ok but not worth a trip IMHO. Tried a few of their IPAs and was thoroughly nonplussed. Also got their nachos with the addition of chile verde chicken which sounded promising. A few issues to note…. Nachos came out in a huge mound, but as I tucked in the dreaded naked chip issue reared its head. Also - there was significantly more lettuce and raw tomato than cheese. Lastly, when I occasionally happened across a piece, the chicken was dry as sand and had only a waft of chili and lime flavor. On the plus side - nice little outdoor patio setup (in the parking lot) with a few tables and umbrellas. Lots of inside seating at a bar and tables with an industrial feel in full view of the brewing equipment.

This review is s specifically regarding the food at this BrewPub. Firstly, the appetizers are really amazing. The maple glazed fried brussel sprouts are some of the best I’ve had. It’s sweet, crunchy, salty and flavorful for a vegetable app. Also, the garlic cheese curds are phenom!! Cheesy, stretchy, hot and salty, everything similatlr to some of the best curds similar in WI. However, the blackened fish tacos was a bit bland, not sure if it was under-seasoned and lacking any sauce. And the tortillas was a bit too chewy. The service though was top notch and ambiance was comfy and pleasant.

Flipside has been a go-to spot for my finance and I for roughly a year. The owner, the beers, the vibe is great. Unfortunately, the manager working when the owner isn’t around makes this an unpleasant experience. We have witnessed the manager talk poorly to the other staff and berate them in front of customers, to the point our server apologized to US for something she didn’t need to. On Saturday nights, he has turned away a crowd of people willing to pay at 9PM (hours state 10pm) while the place is full, only to close early. Recently we’ve been on a Sunday arriving at 5pm only to tell us the kitchen is closing at 5:30pm. (This has been a common occurrence). They do not have listed kitchen hours and we’ve personally witnessed multiple people being turned away due to the kitchen closing soon or being closed. I’d suggest adding those hours and staying true to them. Aside from a particular manager, the rest of the staff have been great! This place has an opportunity to be an amazing local place that we want continuously go to, but our experiences witnessed first hand has been less than pleasant to where we’re ready to take our...

First of all, amazing burgers , we go there because we like their food and trying to support a small business. We are not regular nor someone who they know our faces like we are special. Tonight , we stopped by for a bite and beers with a few friends . I checked their hours on Saturday is open till 11pm. At 8:45, Our waitress dropped off the check, we paid and she left at 9:15. We wanted to make sure she got her tips. She told us we can order from the bar if we would like to. But , she basically rushed out of there . Around, 9:45 we wanted to order one last round from the bar. We approached the bartender, she told us they are closed, no warning , said that there wasn’t anybody at the bar. There were at least another 8 patrons at the restaurant. I get it , it’s slow , you wanted to close early. I think a warning would be nice. Or explaining . I work in the industry , I know it sucks when it is a slow night. But if someone is here an hour before your closing time, you have to still serve them or warn them that it is...
