I DO NOT RECOMMEND NO ONE TO EAT HERE! FOOD POISONING Use to really love this place but the food went down some so I gave it some months to see if they got a new cook! I took family members and members from my church there to eat this time a week ago we went and my brother from the church wasn’t happy with the food so I only gave 1 dollar and some change being he wasn’t happy and the owner told me that an insult! So we went back and forth in front of customer she walked off and said I’m done with this conversation! I call ask to talk to a manager when she put the same women on the phone that how I knew she was the owner so basically I felt I couldn’t do anything! After I went home and start feeling sick so I went straight to bed and I don’t take naps but wasn’t thinking nothing of it until my brother called and said the same thing! I thought maybe it’s the coffee becuz when you drink to much it make me feel different! He took the initiative and went to the doctor which they stated he had food poisoning! I ask him to pursue it but he say he’s not gone go there he gone let god deal with it! I wish I went but I eat and drink after so I didn’t go honestly! I do not recommend no one to go there! My co-workers and I frequent this restaurant, they always get the order wrong, or leave something out from out order-yet we've still always supported them! Nothing replaces BAD SERVICE! Despite this consistent support of this restaurant, ordering and paying for my meal AND a coffee, today I was mistreated by the manager/owner in front of a whole lot of customers inside the restaurant when I went to pick up my to-go meal. It felt kinda racially-motivated, and I definitely pushed back, and explained to her no one should be treated that way ever, but also in front of your other clientele. Shame on you! Do better for the people that support your business and keep you afloat!! Or you will blink, and you'll be OUTTA business! I have visited this restaurant several times with my church family. Today, I was very disappointed with the food and service. I had ordered Chicken and waffles and noticed that a long strain of blond hair was in my waffle. I held it up and showed the waiter, he took it back into the kitchen and brought me back another order. By that point, I was very disappointed. Once he brought me the bill, I noticed that they had charged regular price. I questioned him if there was no discount for the mishap? He took the bill to the manager and she took $4 off.
