I grew up coming here. I wanted my husband to experience what I liked. Decided to take a late night drive in our new car. I suggested we stop here. It was 11:06pm. They are opening til 1am. Order a gyro plate ask for feta cheese. Was in formed it came on the salad. I would have paid extra for more I ended up with a piece the size of my pink toe nail . My husband ordered a double cheeseburger. He asked once receiving the food where are the fries? We were informed it doesn’t come with any. Fine I said you can have mine . Opened the bag to give him them ,they were ice cold. I didn’t want to get back in the drive thru line so I called to say my fries were cold. They didn’t answer the 1st time. I called again, they answered. I informed the gentleman my fries weren’t hot. I wasn’t rude. I didn’t curse . I could see him thru the window. The fries were pre-made sitting, under a heating lamp. All I wanted to do is get my fries remade and purchase some more feta. But who was I to think just because I’m the customer spending my money, I could have what I want?!!! No before I could finish talking he hung up in my face. And when I called back no answer. I would never recommend anyone to visit this location late. Cause if the dining room was open I would walked back in there & had my food made fresh. I have worked in the service industry for 30years. Trained hundreds of servers, bartenders, & cooks for 5star hotels. I am truly disappointed at how my once’s favorite childhood memory was shattered. My brother, God rest his soul use to have me stop here for hotdogs & fries. Like every other week. The night staff needs to be retrained. I was so excited to see they were still open at 11. But now I realize never go through the drive thru at night. A neighborhood icon going down the tubes. Can’t find good help anywhere. My hat is off to all the great workers out here still doing their thing, but to all of you with no customer service skills you should find another profession.Aristons’ could be as famous as Maxwells polish in Jewtown, or home of the hoagie, Giordano pizza & garrets popcorn if the treated the ones who love their food better. I’m so...

It was my first time there and I ordered the wrong thing. Im just here from Alabama in the city visiting my family. I’m a professional, I’m a social worker, I look at the good in the people. Guess you can say I walk around the world with rose lenses. However, today I ordered the wrong thing and was told by the guy that I was waisting his food, while being yelled at, insulted for making a mistake, and overall humiliated.
I first went through the drive thru and asked what was the difference from the polish sausage and the hot dog. The young dude at the window said the polish had a pickle. Well needless to say I meant to order 2 polish instead of 2 hot dogs. I go inside and explain that it was my first visit to the restaurant and that I meant to order 2 polish sausages instead of the 2 hotdogs and that I would pay the difference. In the mist of being insulted he charged me for one polish. I then explain to him again what I started before. The guy completely turned my words around and threw the food I brought back in away. Keep in mind, I remained calm the entire time. He said that he didn’t care that I came from out of town left and right mean the same thing wherever you go. After throwing my food away, he begins to take the next person’s order, while I’m not sure if he is making my food or not. After standing to the side for 10 minutes, I realized I don’t have to spend my money where I’m treated with such disrespect. On a good note, he gave me a refund.
In conclusion, I do not understand how this place remains open for over 30 years (according to their T-shirts) given this man’s behaviors and blatant disregard and lack of respect for the customers that put food in his mouth and money in his pocket. Additionally, I have been emotionally damaged by my encounter with him, as I have truly learned there really are cruel evil people...
Read moreWorst experience at a fast food joint ever. I'd leave zero stars if I could. I waited in the drive thru for over 10 minutes without anybody acknowledging my presence, and this was just to try to place a order. Nobody said "hold on" or anything. So, it's raining really bad today and when nobody attempts to take my order at the drive thru, I pull to the front, believing the intercom system might be down due to the weather. I ask the lady if there was a problem with the intercom and if I can place my order since nobody said anything while I was in line. Mind you, I wasn't going to wait at the window until they finished my order; I could've either gotten back in line to pick it up or picked it up from the inside, if they didn't want to bring it out to me after it was done (since it was their fault I couldn't place my order in the first place). The lady was rude and told me I would have to get back in line to place my order, even after acknowledging there was an issue with customers placing orders in the drive thru. She didn't even apologize; she just told me I would have to get back in the line, which, by this time, is really long. I then called the store to speak with the manager, but, according to the the employee who answered the phone, the manager, Martin, apparently wasn't working today and comes and goes whenever he pleases, so there is never a manager at the store at any given time. At least this employee offered an apology, but I will never be back there, which speaks volumes as this was my first and last time...
