Jerk & Cocktails — Restaurant in Bremen Township

I WON'T EVER RETURN. The customer service is a -0. I came to the restaurant with one of my girlfriends to check out a place we'd heard about and we had an absolute horrible experience. We came about 6:30 pm, and waited at the door. The restaurant is extremely small and it was packed. There were two, two seater tables left and we were not sure if it was seat yourself or wait for a hostess. A lady carrying drinks, told us to sit at either of the tables, without coming up to greet us. We sat down and the table next to us told us about there happy hour special and that it ended at 7 pm. We thought great, we had a little less than 30 minutes to order. We were wrong. We were never greeted by a waitress. Ten minutes into sitting down, I stopped the waitress and told her we were ready to order, she said she would be with us shortly. As I looked around the restaurant, only two tables had food. Everyone was waiting for food and she was the only waitress there. She was serving drinks, working the register and doing other stuff. Admittedly, she was doing a lot and clearly over worked, but, it was the rudeness for me. Ten minutes later, now, 6:50 pm, still no water, no order taken, I stopped the waitress again. I told her we would like to order, she said to give her time. I asked her was there another waitress, she said yes, but she was in the back kitchen. She walked away. I kept trying to call her attention, she ignored me. Finally at 6:59 pm, almost 30 minutes after arriving, I stopped her again and said, can I please place our order. She said she needed to go to the kitchen, but okay fine, what do I want, as if I was an inconvenience. I pointed to the happy hour board and said I wanted to order the wings, she looked at the board as if lying and said "we are out of wings". I said okay, we would like to order the tacos, they also were on the happy hour board, she asked me how many, as I was answering her, the other waitress, whom this was my first time seeing, came from behind her and asked her a question, she turned around to respond to her, when she was done answering her, she immediately went into the kitchen. She did not finish taking my order, she did not tell me she would be back or anything, she just left without notice. We got up and left. We went to Bernice BBQ directly across the street and the food was good and more importantly, the customer service was amazing. If a restaurant food is not up to par, that is understandable, I can try it out a second time, but if your customer service is not good, I won't...

Let me start with walking in, we were seated pretty fast. The owner was sitting at the table with other patrons talking and carrying on. She asked if we were dinning in and we said yes for 2. She then said we could sit at a table for 2 but the table was dirty and she said she had to wipe it down. Now mind you she was sitting around kicking it with other patrons which I am assuming it was family or friends.When she could have already had the table clean before other patrons came in. She gave us water and guided us to the menu. We order our drinks and she was the bartender as well. We waited another 10 minutes before ordering because she was back with the other people who were smoking hookah and drinking. The drinks were okay. I had a tequila sunrise and my husband had a In fashion. His was to sweet and mine tasted like juice. We then order our food. My husband had jerk chicken and I order the pasta pasta with chicken. It took 45min for our food to come out. My husband food was dry and the sides were worse. He had the rice and beans, yams and cabbage l. All of it was horrible. He didnt finish it. Mine was saucy and okay. The othere people kept going in and out and she was more attentive to them then anyone else. Another couple came in and then left because she seated them with another dirty table and then went over to the bar to talk to her friends or family members. They walked out as we were going to our car which was a good idea because this place needs a lot of work. We spent $80 here. We are not coming back and I am not recommending this place to others. We found this place on TikTok and was excited to try it; however, this was the worst experience ever! We arrived early about 12:45pm in order to get seated as they open at 1pm and the place is small. Keep in mind we were the first people to enter the restaurant and everyone got water at the same time about 20 minutes later. About 30-40 minutes later, the waiter (she was nice) came and handed everyone a brunch menu after we had scanned the code on the table and was looking up the menu online.. we were then told they are only serving brunch until 5pm. Another waitress came out and started taking orders at the bar and at the tables closest to the kitchen not considering which customers arrived first leaving us to have our order taken afterwards. The customers at the bar received their food and they were the last people to arrive which is why they were forced to sit at the bar due to no available seats. About 1 1/2 hours went by and we finally got pop (which we asked to come with our food since there are no refills). The manager or owner never came around to the tables to offer us anything complementary or to apologize. Several customers got up and walked out and we tried to stay and give it a go. Well after almost 2 hours of sitting and waiting, we too got up and left. We won't be back. This restaurant will be short lived with this type of service. I'd rather them closed down for the day if they couldn't properly accommodate the customers. Never again! Do better! So disappointed after driving 30 minutes...
