Schoop’s Hamburgers is an absolute classic, and I can confidently give it 5 stars for its consistently delicious food and welcoming atmosphere. It’s the kind of place that feels like a warm, nostalgic hug with every visit. While they’re known for their hamburgers, I always go for their turkey burger, and let me tell you—it never disappoints.
The turkey burger is hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. It’s always cooked to perfection—juicy, flavorful, and just the right size to satisfy any craving. Whether I pair it with a side of their crispy fries or onion rings, the meal is always incredibly satisfying. It’s obvious that Schoop’s takes pride in using fresh ingredients, and it truly shows in the quality of their food.
The atmosphere here is charming and inviting, giving off that retro diner vibe that makes it a fun place to grab a meal with family or friends. It’s casual yet cozy, with plenty of seating and a relaxed ambiance that makes you want to sit back and enjoy your food without rushing.
The customer service is fair and efficient. While it’s not overly attentive or extravagant, the staff is friendly and quick to take orders and get your food out in a timely manner. You can tell they’re focused on keeping things running smoothly, which I appreciate.
Overall, Schoop’s Hamburgers is the perfect spot for a no-fuss, reliably delicious meal. Whether you’re a fan of their classic hamburgers or looking for a healthier alternative like their turkey burger, you’re in for a treat. The combination of great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and reasonable service keeps me coming back time and time again. Highly recommend this gem for a tasty, satisfying meal. Five stars...
Read moreThe food sadly has been HORRIBLE lately. The last 3 times I have ordered they have made my food wrong. You ask for grilled onions instead of regular onions and they mock you by putting no onions on your burger while wrapping up plain regular onions in paper as some sick joke. The cheeseburger which I paid more for to have extra cheese, HAD NO CHEESE AT ALL. Not to mention the meat was extremely dry and stale. DISGUSTING. This has been happening the last 3 times I have ordered. They clearly do not care about their business and must really hate their job. Find somewhere else to work because honestly, if asking for grilled onions instead of raw onions upsets you this much too purposely ruin someone's order.... you have some major mental issues. SPEND YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE WHERE THEY ACTUALLY CARE. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT GARBAGE NASTY FOOD. I have given them 3 CHANCES BEFORE LEAVING THIS REVIEW. I TRIED TO CALL EACH TIME AND NO ONE EVE ANSWERS. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. YOU WILL REGRET IT AND THE FOOD IS NOT GOOD ANYMORE. THIS PLACE HAS GONE TO TRASH OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS....

Stopped by Schoop’s in Tinley Park and left seriously impressed. If you’re craving a classic smash burger done right, this place delivers in spades. The burger was perfectly crisped on the edges, juicy in the middle, and stacked with fresh toppings that didn’t overpower the beef. It’s the kind of burger that hits that nostalgic sweet spot—like a diner-style masterpiece with just the right amount of indulgence.
What really surprised me was the house salad. You don’t usually expect much from a side salad at a burger joint, but Schoop’s clearly puts care into theirs. Crisp greens, ripe tomatoes, crunchy cucumbers, and a tangy dressing that tied it all together—fresh, balanced, and a great complement to the richness of the burger.
Service was friendly and fast, the vibe was relaxed, and everything felt clean and well-kept. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or sitting down for a casual meal, Schoop’s in Tinley Park is a solid pick. I’ll...
