On May 20th, I called Emperorās Palace at about 8:15pm to order food to go. When ordering, I always make sure to list the 3 items I like to eat, and tell them that I will pay whatever combination price they deem necessary to adjust the pre determined combos to meet what I want. They have a lunch special thatās exactly what I eat, so we normally base it off that, but charge a dinner price. I have been doing this off and on for years with no problems. I called in my order, and a young man answered. I proceeded to tell him what I wanted and made the 3 items I wanted very clear. Pork fried rice, pork chow mein, breaded almond chicken. I said it several times (I have my brother as my witness!) and he kept saying yes yes, no problem, itād be ready in 10 mins. Well, I show up and ask for my almond chicken order and they canāt find it, this is about 8:30. They finally get the young man who took my order, and he finds the correct bag. At this point, Iām concerned itās not correct since they couldnāt find it under my name or the main protein. I ask them to open the container and inside is a small portion of almond chicken, sweet and sour pork, pork fried rice, and chicken chow mein with zucchini, peas, and mushrooms. Definitely not what I ordered. I spend a few minutes explaining that it wasnāt what I ordered, which it most definitely was not. They agree to make a new batch of what I had ordered and its now about 8:45. I wait for the corrected order and when it comes out, ask to check it again. She rings me up, $19.08. I ask, āwill I not get a discount for the incorrect order and waiting? Iāll talk to the manager.ā The owner/manager comes out, says nothing to me, takes the food, waves, and as he walks away calls out something along the lines of āwe no serve you.ā So after an incorrect order and an extra 30 minutes, I walked out with absolutely no food. In my experience, most restaurants are more than willing to fix their error and discount your food for any inconvenience. All I got was a rude staff and an even ruder manager. Ā Ā Ā Read morePlaced my order online. I ordered the #4 lunch combination. This is the worst place I have been at in a very long time. The staff was disrespectful. I am clearly trying to stress what I'm trying to say and because of the limited ability to speak English or should I say the inability to act like they can understand English was just painful. How can you run a business and pretend like you don't know English. I had to repeat myself multiple times before becoming frustrated with handing the phone to my. Who she did begin screaming at as well as when I got back on the phone began screaming at me telling me it was my responsibility to make sure my order was correct. I screenshot me taking the order and it was clearly not what I ordered . My order did not take ownership of messing up my order. I do not eat chicken. I specified what I wanted. I followed the instructions online to place my order and my order was completely incorrect. The inside was old. Ran down smelled moldy Health department should be called to inspect this place. The food was completely nasty. I would never go here. I would never recommend anyone to go here. I wouldn't even feed the leftovers to my pets. Ā Ā Ā Read moreHorrible food, I ordered Kung Pao Chicken,( forgot to mention not SPICY at all) the moment we got it smelt off, tried a couple of bites and could eat the food. Friend ordered a number 10 lunch, it was horrible as well.
Called yesterday to let them know, they stated that the manager was out, but would give us a call.
5/20 still didn't hear anything so called back again around 4:40pm, the gal on the phone was rude.
I told them that I called yesterday about the food, she took my info again and told me that she will make sure she personally lets the manager know to call me. Then she was trying to think about how the manager would handle it, said normally people bring the food in and they remake it, I said why would I want to order food again if it was bad the first time, she said well what would you like, I said my money back, she said she couldn't do that because they have to keep all of the inventory for their food, I said I could dig it out of he dumpster and bring it back for them to reuse, she said that's disgusting, I said that's how the food was.... She went silent, I told her to just have the manager call me back tomorrow.
Will follow up with resolution on 5/21. 5/25, company did not contact me, poor customer service!
