Five Guys Burgers is a higher-end version of a classic diner hamburger and fries. The "regular" burgers are actually doubles, so unless you are prepared to eat a huge burger and spend at least $12 on a meal, consider ordering the smaller single-patty burger.
While the burgers here aren't "gourmet" or trying to be fancy, they are great-tasting, large, and all the ingredients are obviously fresh. The fries are sliced to medium thickness, with skins on the tips, and though you get a smallish cup of them, in truth they put twice-again as many fries in your bag as what fits in the cup, so an order of fries gives you more than enough.
This location has one of the touch-screen Coke machines that provides about 20 base flavors, plus has sub-menus where you can, for example, add vanilla, lemon, cherry, orange, and other flavors to your Coke, 7-Up, Dr. Pepper, or whatever, effectively offering about 80 possible combinations.
Service is minimal, as you place your order with a cashier and wait until they call your number, but there were no issues with it.
The decor is intentionally somewhat spartan, and bulk food ingredients are stacked on pallets in the dining room to make corrals and dividers. The place is clean and brightly lit, though they've got a bit overboard in their covering every wall with banners and posters of their positive reviews from around the country. We get it, already.
While Five Guys isn't my favorite burger EVER, it's definitely up there at the very top, and it's a cool casual place to eat. They SHOULD install some free...
Read moreLike it... great fries... burgers are okay. Ordered online to be able to pick up and go. Arrived and there were 2 people were sitting, one was walking away from the register to sit, 2 more in line. Told pick up. The guy looked and said got it, as he motioned to a bag and told me I need to wait for fries. Ok... I wait. He gives a bag to one of the original 2 sitting. I ask for my drink cup. A girl goes to get it after asking me 3x if I Ordered it... I did... showed her my online receipt. No biggy. I get my drink. Another lady comes in and orders a hot dog. The guy bagging puts together a large order calls and the other of the original 2 gets the order. I should be next I hope since I Ordered online and followed the app putting in... on my way, I'm here so quite possibly I had Ordered before the original two sitting... well I wasnt... in fact I waited and was the last of that group to get my burger and fries. My burger sat wrapped waiting through all the other orders. I didn't complain... to many other things in life going on... but I will not tip them ever again. I did a 25% tip online... on their app. Probably won't order there for awhile. Atleast until the fry guy hopefully moves on...
Read moreAlways love a good Five Guys burger. They might be a little more expensive than other fast food places but their burgers are good.
Updated: This particular location sucks nowadays. I assume it's under new management because all of the people in the kitchen don't really know how to speak english that well and every single time that i have gone to this location within the last half year or so they've gotten my order wrong. One of the times i ordered through the app and when i got there i told them my name for them to check my order. I sat there for over half an hour waiting to find out that my order had been sitting on the shelf the entire time. When i checked my order, the burgers were wrong and the fries had gone completely cold and soggy and they hardly had any cajun seasoning. I called to complain about it and they...
