Man, Chill Spot hit me right in the feels the other day. This place was my hangout haven back in high school, and after over a decade, I found myself back in the neighborhood. Stepping through the doors was like stepping into a time machine – the core menu items I loved were still there, familiar faces on a familiar list. Sure, there were some new additions, but the essence of Chill Spot remained unchanged.
My old favorite, the Santa Fe Chicken Wrap, was a must-order again. That first bite? Pure nostalgia! The flavors were exactly as I remembered them – the perfectly seasoned chicken, a simple but satisfying combination of ingredients all nestled in a warm tortilla with a creamy sauce. It was comfort food perfection, a delicious reminder of good times past.
To complete the throwback experience, I grabbed a Mocha Milk Tea. It hit all the right notes – refreshing, perfectly sweet, and the chewy boba pearls added a fun textural contrast.
The atmosphere at Chill Spot might be a bit bare-bones – maybe some background music would liven things up? But honestly, it didn't detract from the experience. The friendly service and, more importantly, the consistently delicious food are the true stars of the show.
Chill Spot isn't fancy, but it delivers exactly what it promises – a chill spot to relax and enjoy some seriously good food. If you're looking for a place that serves up deliciousness with a generous side of nostalgia, Chill Spot is a must-visit. It gets a perfect 5 stars from this...
Read moreWe used to come here all the time until we moved out of the area last year. We drove over an hour today to get Persian wraps and boba. We ordered and then sat down. A few minutes later I overheard the lady who took our orders tell another customer that the wraps weren’t the same and they had grilled chicken and not the chicken they used to marinate in the sauce, so I had her cancel our food orders but told her we still wanted our boba. She said “honestly it still tastes the same.” I said, “How can it taste the same if it’s not marinated in the sauce.” She replied, “It’s still marinated, just in a DIFFERENT sauce.” Ummm… that means it won’t taste the same. She said she would refund us for the food since we cancelled our order, but it hasn’t shows back up in my bank (so I paid like $40 for food we never got). The silver lining is the boba was good and the perfect texture. However, they were out of the first several flavors we ordered, so we settled on coffee and vanilla/almond. So basically we ended up paying $57 today for two boba teas. I wish new management wouldn’t have messed with recipes that everyone loved.
** edited to reflect that they did refund our money for the food. Again, the boba is great, so if that’s what you’re going for, you’ll have no issues (except...
Read morePretty good. I like going to this place. It’s a bit pricey but it’s pretty tasty… HOWEVER there is this one worker who always gets my order wrong, no matter what it is. I’m indecisive so I get something different each time I go. That means my orders aren’t anything special and I don’t change the from how they appear on the menu. So it should be simple to make the order right? Apparently not. Every time I see this woman, I know my order won’t be right. I kid you not… every single time. It’s not like she’s new either. I’ve been going to this location for about a year and I remember seeing her then. It’s not just me! Every customer she serves gets at least one part of their order wrong. This of course causes her to have to remake the item, thus holding up the line. I once sat in a line with two people ahead of me for 25 minutes. Seriously what the heck. I’m surprised nothing has changed! It’s wasting their customers time and the company’s resources. Such a shame. Besides her, the other staff are great! I wish I remembered her name, but this one young lady had a very fun chat with me about music while she made my order. Oh my gosh, I loved her! They have also recently remodeled and I’ve got to...
