Today I went here and they have always been super friendly and helpful. This store to me is one that you really have to be knowledgeable because people are coming there to get helpful information on shoes. The guy that was helping me no offense to him, but I felt like I was there helping myself and picking what I wanted on my own. Any time I have went to feet fleet no matter which location I always felt like people there either knowledgeable or sought out help if they didn’t. Well, I asked one of the girls there if someone else could help because I just did not feel I was getting the help that I needed and the shoes that were being brought to me were never the right ones I asked for. Usually if they don’t have the right pair they will say I didn’t find this particular shoe you want, but I brought these out instead and talked about the shoe. Well the girl say “we don’t have anyone to help.” Clearly she was available and I said to her that I would be willing to wait because as I said previously nothing against the guy, but I just needed someone more helpful. Luckily for me I already knew the person I wanted. So instead of the girl saying let me try and let someone know she just go to the register and ask the guy who was already being helped if she can help him after telling me there was no one else available and the guy told her he was already being helped. So the lady that I wanted to help she was coming out to help the guy and I waved her down and told her I would like for her to help me after she was done with the guy she was already helping and she said she would as long as I was willing to wait for her to finish with the customer she was previously working with and I said yes. Thanks to Susan (according to my receipt) she really stepped in and was very helpful. The other guy was understanding of what I was needing in that moment and did not take offense nor did anyone talk bad about him. If it wasn’t for the other girl treating me like she did I would have...
Read moreI can’t say enough wonderful things about our visit today! The store is very open and bright with full length windows letting in lots of natural light. The floor space is open and we had no trouble maneuvering my mom’s wheelchair around the store. I’ve never seen so many different styles and colors of tennis shoes! There were also customers of all different ages trying on shoes too. My mom happened to be there to find shoes appropriate for PT and OT following a stroke. Right across from us were young people who are definitely runners! Darren was our consultant. He was very knowledgeable about the fitting process and all the different shoes that would address my mom’s needs. He introduced himself to all of us and included us in his discussion with my mom. We began by helping her stand on a floor mat type of machine that measured her feet, and somehow scanned them for all kinds of useful information. This info went into a profile so when we return for more shoes, it will be available for fitting purposes. Darren was very gentle with my mom, taking great care to not hurt her while he helped her put on the shoes. He explained how each shoe was designed and what was unique about the fit of each pair. At no time did he make us feel rushed or an inconvenience because of her special needs. My mom only had to try on 3 pairs before deciding on the one that fit and felt perfect. We so appreciate his patience, kindness, and expertise! We will definitely be back for more shoes! Bonus- 60 day guarantee and the customer rewards program! We only have one suggestion for the store design and that is maybe add a few more mirrors up front so customers with ambulatory issues can...
Read moreMade a specific trip to this store as it was recommended by some friends. Unfortunately I cannot recommend it to others. Went in to see what shoes they had in a boys size 5.5 or so. Our son just started running for his school and we wanted to get some expert help. We waited in the store for a good 10min trying to track someone down to see if they carried that size. Eventually I waited near the backroom to catch someone coming out. They referred me to another employee. I said I was sure he's larger than a 5 but hasn't ever been measured and we needed advice on shoes. She said they only had two shoes anyway so she brought both out. She handed them to me and walked away. Both shoes were bright pink and purple. While my wife helped him with the shoes I asked if they had boys colors and she said they could most likely order some. He tried them on and sort of jogged in the store a bit. We asked a guy if he could check the sizing and make a recommendation (we were told that's what their employees did for customers) he said "sure, one sec" and walked away. After another 10min or so we boxed the shoes up and left. I will say there were a number of customers in the store but they also had like 6-7 employees there. I felt like our business wasn't as important as the adults in the store. But it isn't like the shoes they brought out were cheap, even in kids sizes, and we most certainly would have been consistent, repeat customers as he loves running and will no doubt need a lot of shoes moving forward. Next time we'll check the Fleet Feet closer to our house and hope for much...
