I’m a fan of this place. The food is delicious, and my wife and I have ordered from here numerous times. Today was my first time going to order in person, and it was a weird experience. After I ordered to go, the girl who helped me at the counter said “help yourself to a drink while you wait”. Now, I thought this was strange. If she had said “water” I’d have thought nothing of it, but she 110% said “help yourself to A DRINK” while you wait. The cups were all out by the soda machine and coffee options, so I decided to help myself, like was I told to do. Then, as I was waiting for my food the employees were all looking at my like I was doing something wrong. They had put my order aside because it didn’t say “drink” on my ticket, and assumed it couldn’t have been mine. Then, someone asked me what the name on my order was and brought it over to me. Rather than ask me if I had payed for my drink, or anything at all about it for that matter, he read me ticket stating “okay, no drinks, thanks a lot for being patient.” And walked away, while a few other employees who had given him my bag had been talking and pointing at me, like I was stealing. I just feel like, if I was doing something I shouldn’t have been, someone should have confidently asked me about it, rather than passively make me feel like a thief. If he had just stated that wasn’t the case and that there was a miscommunication, I would have paid for my drink without question. Bothered by the whole experience, and hope that if there was a miscommunication , they can figure it out so someone else doesn’t get the strange...
Read moreThis review based only on service as food is delicious. I Was there to enjoy a good breakfast as I decided to go back after a wonderful 1st time visit earlier in the week.. this morning I realized they are not good in handling bussy Saturday morning crowds. Placed my order to dine in and got it wrong. No big deal I saw they were busy so just enjoyed what I was given. While there I placed an online order to take with me. I got my order and saw that the hot chocolate sitting there for 20min was mine so I kindly requested a fresh hot chocolate, when I got back to hotel I found out my chicken (reason why I ordered son this meal) was missing. I went back and they did make it right by giving me a fresh order (including the chicken) got back to hotel and other parts of my order were now missing.. I must say the waffles are delicious enough that my son was ok with no syrup.. but the bacon would have been good to enjoy with it. $36.00 meal and a lot of hassle .. again FOOD IS AMAZINGLY DELICIOUSLY just need better attention to detail especially on to go orders. Or go during the week when not so busy.. yes food is a bit more pricey than other places for a small meal but I have no complains on food as it is worth the price. But just a little disappointed that I went through this hassle and we still didn't enjoy a full meal that was paid for. (Ordered the Bam! Yo yo & maple pepper...
Read moreI like this place. The location is convenient to meet friends. Centrally located with excellent parking availability. Street parking and free indoor parking is free and always open spots. The best is ambiance. A lot of natural light and open indoor space provides privacy for conversation and keep noise level low. It’s a self serving premise. You stand in line, order, pay and they will call your name to pickup a order. Portions are pretty generous.I ordered The chicken Club and Kettle Chip Basket and that was way to much food for one person. Both meals tasted good.
The more often I go to the this place the more I enjoy the food. My favorite menu dish is Hash Brunch Bowl. It’s delicious, quite big portion and there is a great value for the price of the dish. My friend enjoyed Bluegrass Grits Bowl. Service today was great and friendly. Ambiance is casual and servers just bring in the food and the rest of time is yours. You can enjoy the time in eating and chatting with friends. That’s the beauty of not having pressure on your back that you have to leave immediately...
