About Saturday nights dinner 🥰🥰. Been a while I came here. Got my favorite waitress 🥰🥰 Food was yum🙏.

The reason this is getting one star is because two out of our five dinners were under cooked or just plain lousy. The service and the front of the house manager I would give a 5 plus, they were great! The food on the other hand has much to be desired. The one highlight was that one of the dinners (steak) was cooked to perfection as ordered. The " Pizza" was not thoroughly cooked, so neither the dough nor the tomatoes were done. No roasted red peppers were on the pizza as ordered. The "Shrimp Scampi" was very salty, and what kind of sauce is that, a butter cream? I have never had scampi with a creamy sauce, my guess is that everything came out of a frozen bag. The sauce was like what you would make for cream spinach. Once was enough for me, I will stick with the local Italian restaurants where most everything is made in house.

Great food, great drinks, good atmosphere, our waiter was awesome. We went for a birthday dinner, sat down right away (around 6:30pm). Our waiter, Shawn, was attentative (but not annoying) and all of our food & drinks came out quickly, as ordered. Ordered Classics Appetizer (mushrooms are amazing!), Chicken Parm & Italian Classics Trio, and also the Berry Butter Cake dessert, which was out of this world! My Italian Old Fashioned was done well and had a great Makers Mark bite to it, my girlfriend's Blackberry Sangria was also delicious. Will absolutely go back, the entire experience was very pleasant, and for all of the food we ordered, the bill was very fair.

I received a gift card though my job, I am a customer service manager for wawa. We are all about customer service and we take pride in giving the customer a great experience. I'm so sorry to say we did not have that tonight. My boyfriend and I chose to come to eat at carrabbas for our date night. We were so disappointed in our waitress Lorraine she honestly had the worst customer service I have seen in a while let alone an grown adult. I understand life happens and people have lives and sometimes you are not in a good mood. Honestly if you are having a day like this you need to just stay home. This waitress acted annoyed from the time we sat down till the tone we left. It wasn't just our table she had an attitude with all of her tables. When it came time to pay I had told her I have a gift card which was on my phone and she explained that I had to write the number on the receipt and she will take care of it that way I said no problem. So she handed me the check and I put the number on it and my boyfriend placed his card along with the receipt. She comes back and says I gave you the wrong check I said oh ok I didn't realize, she acted like it was our fault she did this. Honestly if she was into her job and gave our table good customer service she would have realized what she did. Now it wasn't a issue for us to pay the difference my boyfriend was trying to ask her about the 2 charges on his card if she would of stop to listen to what was being said instead of just saying ill get my manager there wouldn't of been an issue. She just kept saying your bill is 95 dollar before the gift card all we wanted to know was why she charged the card twice and will the other charge kick back. So at this time I got so frustrated I asked her do you like your job? Because you have the worst customer service I have seen in a long time. She answers me like she is in shock that I even asked the question she goes yes I am the best waitress here. Which is sad that she can't even realize how bad she is. I'm sorry carrabbas you need to do better! Honestly Lorraine maybe it's time to take some time off recharge yourself or look for a new job because just from our experience we will not be back. Times are hard and when people go out to dinner after a long day of work with customer service we just want to unwind not have a nasty waitress not wanted to do here job. To top it off spend 95 dollars we should feel welcomed...

I went to Carrabba's fr the first time after the birth of my granddaughter. I had traveled down from VT, over six hours, and after visiting my daughter and new baby I knew I needed something to eat. I was in the mood for Italian. I knew of Carrabba's, but had never been. I went to the bar where I was greeted by a very pleasant, nice looking young man-Brian. I ordered a drink and looked over the menu. The drink, although it was only Stoli, shaken, served straight up, was the best I had ever had. Brain shook it until little fine pieces of ice floated on top and sipping through was a pleasure. i ordered the Stuffed Mushroom appetizers and the Chicken parm to go. Brian also gave me some bread to go with my dinner. I got home and had a mushroom... very good! I pulled out the chicken parm with ziti and there was a piece of paper, you know the one that separates the cheese in the drawers, under the cheese. Well, it did not stop me from eating I just put it aside and had one piece of the chicken. Two came in the dinner which gave me a meal for 2 nights. The next day, after visiting the hospital, I stopped by the restaurant. I asked to see the manager and Ed came forward with a nice smile and a handshake. I had put the paper in a sandwich bag to show what had happen. He apologized and told me he would take care of my meal for me. I just wanted the restaurant to be aware of what had happened, but I was very pleased and being compensated for a minor inconveniences was muchly appreciated!! More so when I got home I discovered that not only did he take off my dinner, but he took off the appetizer and cocktail bill was well. MY complete bill was comped! This is great service, no hassle with issue and friendly the whole time. I will be coming down to NJ more often now to see my granddaughter and will Definitely go back to Carabba's!! They know how to run a restaurant with friendly people to greet you at the door, a personable bartender and a manager who takes care of problems without trying to make excuses and get out of apologizing to a guest. Nice Job...

Disappointing Pizza, Drink, Double Charges And Untimely Service. Don't go on Saturday night. They are too busy to give good service. We headed over from Brick plaza at an early 4:30 to find the parking lot and restaurant nearly full up. Husband's salad and chicken marsala were good. The bread, herbs and olive oil were good but timely refills weren't happening. I ordered pizza margherite which arrived with the saddest palest unripe roma tomato sliced with all the seeds intact, no tomato sauce on an undercooked dough with no taste to it. Sent it back for one with added sauce. The chef got back at me by adding enough black pepper to light up both pizzas AND my colon later that night. So my makeup pizza was flavored by too much black pepper. I ordered their signature lemonade cocktail with basil syrup. It did not resemble lemonade at all. It was weird booze overpowered by sweet basil syrup. We asked the gal who brought our orders out for more bread only to never see her again. When we did see our waiter we asked again for a refill on the bread and by then needed more oil. We had to ask for that too. We got an oil refill but no herbs but by then it was too late. The manager came over to try to rectify the situation and mistakenly charged us for both pizzas. He took the charge off for my weird lemonade basil drink and insisted he make me a different drink. Because he pressed so much I said yes but thought it would be complimentary, but was actually charged for it. By then I was too late to drink it all up at the very end of our meal. You think with a name like Carrabba's you could get a good artisanal pizza. Also, the pizza is $14. not $9. listed online with obviously very old menu prices from years ago. Too bad it was my husband's birthday. They ruined my...
