This was our second time ordering from this place. The first time we picked up the order and the order was a little over $150. The second time we had delivery for a $300 order. We had guests in from out of town the second time. The first time, the food was amazing but the second time was even better than the first time. We ordered a little from each category on the menu. You would think for such a big menu there would be inconsistencies and you’ll be wrong. For delivery they came within the time frame stated when ordering the food. The delivery driver was friendly and helpful. The food was super fresh and still hot almost as if we were eating it in the restaurant. The portion sizes are generous and not just thrown in the container; good presentation of the food in the container. I do t think it’s possibility to have any disappointment in the food, we haven’t had a dish we didn’t like yet. The flavor and spices that are used are amazing where most competitors veer away. I highly recommend people who are interested in Asian fusion cuisines to try this place out - you won’t be disappointed. Great job Kumo, keep up the great work and...
Read moreI’ve been ordering from Kumo for quite awhile now and up until my last 3 orders, I’ve loved them. First: Sushi entree “A” used to include white fish along with tuna and salmon. That is no more. Disappointing. Second: I can deal with the missing white fish but when the delivery driver arrived 15 minutes after me placing an order online, I knew something was amiss. There is NO way a dinner order for two can be freshly made and delivered within 15 minutes. I wasn’t wrong. I tried to bite into the tuna sushi and it was so tough, I had to ditch the chopsticks and rip it from my mouth with my hand. Same for the remaining pieces. This “entree” dish was clearly made way ahead of time and not to order. Disappointing, especially on a Saturday night, where you would think all product would be fresh. I will not be returning to Kumo when there are many other Japanese cuisine options in...
Read moreKumo is hands down my favorite place to order from now. I am extremely picky about my Chinese food. Growing up in Jersey City we always went to the Canton Tea Garden Restaurant. If you are familiar with the movie Too Wong Foo then you know the Canton is where they filmed the Robin Williams scene. Anywho, The Canton closed years ago and I haven’t found any place that even comes close to that delicious goodness…. Until NOW. My fiancé and I gave Kumo a try. To my surprise it was delicious. Homemade egg rolls, melt in your mouth boneless ribs, tender coconut shrimp, I could go and on. To understand the true level of delicious can only come from being a Guinea pig to my late master chef brother who taught me so much. It takes alot in the food industry to wow me (chefs Sister yes I’m critical). Today though, Kumo Asian...
