Roy Rogers — Restaurant in Brick Township

This location needs new management or to be closed down. I frequent this location as its opened near me recently and I enjoy Roy Rogers as a company. Generally this one's food is not the best, we've frequently been shorted on au jus and can often taste soap on our food from poorly washed cookware. Today, however I ordered a Regular Roast Beef sandwich to go. I overheard a situation of the customers in front of me having confusion and issues with their order, they wanted a special request roast beef junior size. This seemed to be an issue for the staff but I thought nothing of it and waited for my food. Upon getting home, I realized they gave me this small roast beef sandwich in place of my order somehow. I called initially to just request a comp on my next order as I was happy to go again and I selected the phone option to speak with a manager. When I stated I had an issue with the order I picked up, this manager first off tried to tell me 'Well this is the Brick store so...' yes, I know this is the Brick store. I was just here. I explained the situation, and that I knew of the special request ahead of me and that they must have been switched. He tries to say they don't make junior roast beefs. I understand that, there was a request and it was a mistake I just want a comp on my sandwich. He says he's going to find a manager and figure it out. I thought I was supposed to be speaking with a Manager already, but okay. He comes back and continues to tell me that what I thought happened did not and that I got the correct order. At this point, my fiancee who's food it was, took the phone and said 'I know what my f** sandwich is supposed to look like and this is not it.' The manager told him 'It's not gonna happen' and hung up on us. This was the most unprofessional treatment I've ever received from anywhere. We've since filed a claim with our bank for a full refund and I've filed a report with corporate to investigate this locations management. If and when this store is under proper management I will...

We went to the drive up, not inside so the atmosphere question really didn't apply. However with that being said, we went here because the Roy Rogers on route 9 in Bayville would not participate with my app. Brick is farther away from my home but my husband and I wanted some lunch from Roy Rogers.

The woman that was working the drive up yesterday was so very nice, I love polite and good customer service. This person had all of that and she even told my how to add my visit to the app because this was the first time I used it. She also asked if I needed condiments to go with our food. I was blown away by her customer service. I am hoping she not only gets a pat on the back for a job well done, but also a Christmas bonus.

We experience a lot of fast food places when my spouse does food deliveries and I have to say, so many workers at these places like Dunkin Donuts, Wendy's are not friendly or go out of their way to assist you more. When someone treats me good, I do good back too!

Anyway, our food was fresh and tasty, the service at this Brick location was awesome. I took the survey with my receipt so Roy Rogers you should know who my server was. I am hoping since I took the time to write this review and take the survey that you do something nice for the woman that worked the drive through the day we visited.

UPDATE: This please see below for my previous review. On this particular visit Roy Rogers will be receiving a three-star from me I put much consideration into this particular rating and review and unfortunately I must say consistency just was not there in this particular visit. I was not very happy with my food this visit and the customer service made up for that. The staff did make my order fresh and certainly handled my concerns appropriately. The restaurant was clean the customer service was good and I will return and I hope to be able to give them a higher review again. Usually they make the Mark for 4.5 this time they got a three and it was a hard 3. I really want to bump this up to a 4.5 because it is fast food. I arrived mid day and I must say that they are the best fast food style burger joint in the area. pros: Food was fresh and cooked with good flavor. the restaurant was clean and the staff was nice. Is the salad bar where toppings bar if you wish to call it was fresh and the restrooms were clean. cons: One of the garbage was a little too full. the price on average runs approximately $1.25 higher than most fast food in the area. overall: Way above my expectations from a...
