We've ordered Papa Johns a few times in the past few months. One of those times, we only got half of our order, so I called and they sent someone out with the rest of it. The manager noted that it was the delivery person's first day, so I understand that mistakes can sometimes happen. Once we had our full order, the food was good and we were satisfied. Another of those times, everything was good. It was delivered on time and the food was hot and good quality. Tonight, we weren't highly satisfied with the quality of the food. One of the items was cold, one of the items was supposed to have no sauce for me, because I'm allergic to tomatoes, and one of the items was just sopping in sauce. I called the store number to let them know about the one that was supposed to have no sauce, only because I am unable to eat it with sauce. Unfortunately, I never got through. I called 6 times and got a message every time that the number is no longer in service, has been disconnected, or has been changed. So I called corporate and waited on hold for 10 minutes hoping that they would have a different number I could call. They did not, but they were able to open a ticket for me to get a refund for my item. So, suffice to say, when we receive all our food and it's correct, we are very satisfied. But I'm only rating 3 stars because it's been kind of 50/50...
Read morePlaced an order online and upon submitting I realized I needed to make corrections. I called the restaurant to cancel the order and rent-a-manager Susanne offered to make the corrections I needed over the phone. I gladly accepted but she failed to mention my order would cost double since specials are only valid online (because according to her I should’ve known this). She also failed to give me a total on the phone and an itemized receipt when my husband picked up the order. He received a credit card receipt only. When I called her to politely ask about the charges, she immediately raised her voice and said this was my fault because it’s the customers job to ask all of these things. SUSANNE WAS EXTREMELY RUDE AND BEYOND UNPROFESSIONAL! She offered absolutely no resolution or apology and ultimately I was to blame for her incompetent job performance. Also, the pizza she took the order for was made incorrectly!
Upon reading other reviews it seems the people at this establishment don’t know how to speak to customers. Going forward, I will take my money elsewhere. There are plenty of other pizza spots in the area. I encourage others who value good customer service to...
Read moreOrdered 3 pizzas at 5:03pm. Received a text they were on the way at 5:52pm. The store is 6 minutes from my house. I called the store at 6:17 and was told “the driver is at his second stop and you are the third”. The pizza finally arrived at 6:59, mostly cold (like it was made an hour prior, shocker!) To top it all off, our order was missing 3 spicy garlic sauces, 2 regular garlic sauces, and 4 extra packets of seasonings, all of which you have to pay extra for now. $6 of missing extras. I understand being busy and short handed, but as a customer I shouldn’t need to “be patient” to this extent. I use that quote because I overheard an employee, or possibly the owner’s wife, in the background saying “we’re busy! She needs to be patient!” when I called the 3rd time. I will say, they made it right by re-making the entire order and we went to pick it up. The store was pure chaos when we went to pick up the order. I personally can’t speak to the quality as I wasn’t behind the counter. But given the state of the store, I won’t be purchasing from here EVER again! I hope enough people read this and find another pizza place...
